  • Fnished the first round the other day - but haven't had time to update. Good basic workout - about 40% of the exercises (mainly the ab work) I found very tough to do, but I can see how they would help. Getting started on the second week and will report back in at the end of the series to let you know if there is an…
  • I try to walk, although I have to admit I am turning into a cold weather weinie. I just finished the first round of the Success in the Saddle DVD exercise program - not a great cardio work out but I think will help tremendously with flexiblity and core strength. My husband and I started taking dance lessons as well.…
  • Here is some of what's on one of my playlists (keep in mind I may be a bit older than some of you!) All the things she said (Simple Minds) The ***** is Back (Elton John) Cobrastyle (Teddybears) Club at the End of the Street (Elton John) Don't Lose my Number (Phil Collins) It is Love (Mr. Mister) Life is a Highway (Rascal…
  • Day Five - a day late. Good group of exercises, all but one set doable for a middle aged person with no abs and no balance. Good balance exercises today.
  • Day Four sucks. It's all about abs. Left me breathless and frustrated. First time the majority of exercises for me are not doable. Blech.
  • Day Three was tough - this is the first time there were a block of exercises I couldn't do - motivated me to keep after it! For me the leg exercises are not as critical (but nice from a toning aspect) , but the core, shoulder and arm work is already beginning to help.
  • I like greek yogurt as well, and I usually add some powdered fiber to it . I will usually eat a piece of fruit - bananas and watermelon are the fruit du jour at the moment.
  • Day Two done. Another twenty minute workout, focuses on hips and legs. Finding balance was a key objective today - a real issue for me and one of the reasons I was never comfortable in the saddle, I have a lousy sense of it! Husband did it right along with me - we found it challenging but not impossible by any means, like…
  • Repeated Day one so DH could catch up with me - I am sore this morning as this impacts muscles I don't normally use. I will be interested to see how sore husband is in the morning as he rides on a regular basis. He like the work out, so far.
  • Just cancelled my WW. I lost about 35 pounds using the on-line service and liked it. It works, but. . . this is free, I don't like the new points system and as many have already pointed out, the food database here is much larger. Plus there is a community of like minded souls here for me - an already existing group.
  • Saw this on COTH Fitness thread this morning (like, apparently, many others) and am always looking for motivation. I am Pegasusmom on COTH. I'm 55, have fought my weight all my life and finally have had succes with Weight Watchers to the point I was at a maintainable weight of 152+/-. I'd love to be thinner, but…
