It sounds like maybe you had a bad eating day! Never fear. Tomorrow is brand new. We're on your side!

Working out four days a week is a great week for me. So no, I don't feel guilty if I don't work out. I would feel more guilty if I did it every day, causing me to spend less time with husband and children! Having said that I did not run yesterday and promptly had a bad weigh-in this morning. :D

Yes, I can see a difference. Great job!

Husband says "It begins and ends with the Rocky IV soundtrack." He and I also suggest: Santa Monica by Everclear Final Countdown by Europe (even though that is 80s and makes me think of the show Arrested Development now) Big Bang Baby by Stone Temple Pilots Bullet With Butterfly Wings by Smashing Pumpkins Sabotage by…

Dude. Going the Distance by Cake. That is all.

I DEFINITELY schedule my day around being able to have snacks at night. I intentionally have slightly smaller meals so that I have a few hundred calories in the evenings. It helps a lot. Also something that has helped me is to log my foods early in the day so I have a sort of schedule to follow. Then I know what snacks are…

I love Kix!! We just finished a box today.

A little snack on the way home is a good idea, whoever posted that. I sometimes will log my snacks and/or meals ahead of time too. Then when I'm hungry I check the "schedule" I made for myself and have whatever I put in for that time. It's not set in stone but it's a good guideline.

You are normal! :) Your muscles are responding to the new activity and you will always feel sore each time you do something that is difficult or a stretch for you. Great job! Try doing the same thing again tomorrow only doing a few more. You'll eventually be able to do a situp!

There will always be letdowns and bad circumstances, sometimes less and sometimes more. I don't say that to trivialize it or to minimize what you may be going through. The issue is whether we know how to deal with them, I guess.

In need of hope! Do you have it?

So it's really about the exercise? I mean -- there isn't anything about your diet that would give her a reason to think that? I think as long as you truly are eating as much as you need to, you can take it one of two ways: 1. She is either jealous because you're losing faster or she just doesn't understand that different…

Great job so far! You can do it! Oh and also. Drinking water is a pain but I will say this for it...it helped end a plateau I was in recently.
-
I could hardly do anything when I started couch to 5k and I'm slowly working my way up. You can do it! Remember, just by getting out there and getting started you are already lapping all of the people sitting at home on their couch. Chances are anyone who sees you will just wish they had the courage to come out and do what…

Look at where you started. Did you ever think you would be able to lose 44 pounds? But you did. Do you know how incredible that is? That's 176 sticks of butter. Try holding 176 sticks of butter in your arms. Do you have any children? If not, use one of mine for comparison. My middle child is 5 and weighs 41 pounds. You…

Oh and also...drink your water! It really does make a difference. Somehow it's like your body is able to flush the extra fat away or something. I plateaued for almost three weeks and I think what kick-started me again this week was really focusing on water intake, which I'd slacked off on recently.

Have you been getting outside and getting fresh air? Do you live where the weather is nice right now? I think getting out and getting some outdoor activity really helps to rejuvenate people. If not, maybe it's time for a change of pace in your exercise routine. Try something new!

I'm not sure if she spends most of her time with you or mom, but I think the first thing to do rather than start counting calories would be to spend some time being physically active with your daughter. Make sure that whenever you can, the two of you go biking, walking, skating, hiking, whatever it takes to get her active.…

Be ENcouraged! You have started, and you just have to stick with it for a bit! Keep right under your calorie goal and get some exercise. You can do it!!
-
This is right!

Try it, it might be a good thing! The important thing to remember is to look at the long term. When I'm plateauing I look at how much weight I've lost in the last month, or even longer. It helps me to see that it IS working, even if I'm not losing weight right now. I'm so impatient that I weigh in every day and so I have…

I plateaued the last 2.5 weeks also and am hoping it is coming to an end, finally. I think the most important thing is, stick with it for at least that long and keep it up. When I look at my weight loss progress it always goes in spurts...down rather quickly, then levels off for a while, then down again, over and over.…

Lemon yellow capri pants. I wore them one summer, and then got pregnant with Thing 3 and now he's 2 and I still haven't even tried them on again. I don't even care if they aren't in style this summer, those babies are back when it warms up again.

As far as the pants gapping in the waist, that is probably how you are built and most likely won't go away. At my very skinniest I've pretty much always dealt with the same issue. Grr. So annoying. I think maybe strength training might do more to tone up a person's body so it's pretty much what they want in other areas,…

Hahaha. Or, in my case, running after your children. Those little guys are fast.

I'm really happy for you! You're doing so great.

This. If your cat is super tame and attached to you she probably won't mind much. The big thing about not touching the kitties is that it sometimes makes the mother move them to a place where you won't be able to bother them. On the farm that happened a lot...if we found and handled a litter of kittens, the next day the…

Wow, you are looking super!

Wow. Mine are no fun but they aren't this debilitating. I sleep on a heating pad for two nights of it and that helps a lot.

I like reading posts from people in other countries because there are foods I have to then research and figure out what they are. Now I know about marmite! I'm frightened by the thought of it and I can't imagine what it might taste like but I would try some!
