Hey all! I'm a mom of 4! I have lost 130 pounds. Have about 40 to go. Add me if you like. I do weight lifting, cardio walking/intervals and Tang Soo Do. I also have severe fibromyalgia.

The guy who wrote is is an editor, not a doctor, researcher or (that I can see) medically trained. But IMO, you can simply look at the increased processing of food, the increased sugar additives and availability, and the growing trend of obesity and diabetes. Is sugar evil? No, duh, its an object, a food. Eating too much…

You will find an opinion here to suit whatever camp you are in on this. :) Personally, I exercise in the morning because if I don't do it in the morning, I will make every excuse in the book to not do it later in the day. I exercise before I eat, and have never had any trouble.

LOL I love cheese too! And I lift every day. It has accelerated my weight loss, and muscle is healthy!

Motivation is a unique, internal force. What is your "why"? Why do you want to get fit? Figure that out, then design your goals and rewards around that. For me, I give myself rewards every 10 pounds I lose. The first 10 pounds was a new bathing suit. The next 10 pounds, I get a bracelet I have been wanting. I want to look…

I don't care about your calories. You walked SEVEN MILES!!! Way to go!

Feel free to add me. I have 140 to lose. I only want positive people as well!

Hey Mez! I have a ton of weight to lose (100 lbs+) and I have started doing weight training with my cardio. I do 30 minutes of cardio with weight training for usually 45-60 minutes a day, and it has accelerated my weight loss. It took a little bit to get my body in tune with it, like a few weeks, but after that, the weight…

And are you exercising? I could not eat for three weeks straight, and unless I was exercising, I wouldn't lose an ounce. Ever heard of that Indian man who says he hasn't eaten or drank anything for 70 years? That would be me. I may lose a few pounds by then lol…

I would love to see this as well. Hanging tummy, lots of stretch marks, 2 c-sections. I'm pretty sure when I am done I am going to have to do a full body lift.

I lost 100 pounds, and then I gained it ALL back, Plus some. I could have killed myself. (Figuratively). Now I am starting again, and I have realized that until I really forgave myself, and did this WITH my body, from a position of love instead of hate and punishment for my body, that I was not going to get anywhere. I…

You guys are awesome, thank you all for taking the time to make a recommendation. For those of you who wear Birks, what kind do you wear? I am def going to get some inserts and do some stretching exercises that were recommended to me, and I am looking at some birks for around the house so I don't go barefoot anymore.

What Majigurl said - and just try to MOVE. Walk through it. I know when I first started, after my first day of weight lifting I could hardly move for 3 days. I was in SO much pain. But I kept at it and kept doing it and now I do get a bit sore from my workouts, but nothing like it was at first.

If it is because of your weight, he is an *kitten*, and you are better off without him. Celebrate it and liberate yourself from that kind of thinking.

I'm not a dealer for it or anything, but I have heard that Advocare really helps people lose weight quickly. People I actually know (not just website pictures) have lost like 20 pounds in 1 3 week session doing it. Its supposed to reset your metabolism. It costs about $200 (which is why I haven't done it yet) but maybe…

Just START. Where ever you start is fine. Start by making a one day commitment to track food. Walking for 10 minutes. Going and checking out a gym. Small steps, but each step toward your goal is a victory. The more momentum you gain, the easier it will become.
-
Hey Sunshine - are you still doing this?

MOVE MORE. I exercise every day, and I work out hard. But then the rest of the day, I am completely sedentary. I sit in front of my computer and work, or in the evening I sit on the couch. So My first goal is to start moving at least 5K steps a day. That's doubling my typical step count. So I have decided that this month I…

That would be ...because they are GAY. LOL. Why not ask why you aren't attracted to men? Its not a choice, it just is.

I would say you need to ask your doctor. You certainly do not want to lose weight during your pregnancy, because that creates an alkaline environment for the baby. If you gain the recommended 20-30, you should be back where you started 6 weeks or so after the birth, and have a fat, healthy baby too! And congratulations!

Fabulous job! And I love your tattoo!!
-
I saw it on Dr. Oz and am always up for anything hat will help. Unfortunately, they didn't accelerate my weight loss at all. :)
-
Wooohooo!!!! You look great!
-
Ahhh I just found this group! I have been Primal for about 2 weeks now, and really like it. I would love to have more Primal/Paleo friends as well!

My dog eats CDs. Seriously. LOL!

WOW what an amazing transformation!! Great job!

AWESOME!!!!!! I started out (before I got on MFP) at 294, then when I got on here I was about 258. Down to 234 now and my goals in succession are 199 (ONEderland!) then 172, which was my weight before my last 2 kids, then hopefully down into the 140s. Your pics showed me where I can be too!
