For a super fun lunch make your own "Bento box"- fill a tupperware container with small amounts of different foods (I seperate the food by placing it in silicone Cupcake liners). You can also buy real bento boxes in stores or online. I throw in some of the following: low fat cheese, cut up veggies, cut up fruit, hummus,…

I have my activity level set to sedentary so I do tend to log things out of my norm. I will log cleaning that is not part of my everyday routine (However, making the bed, doing dishes, cleaning up after cooking meals, everyday bathroom cleaning, and straightening up the house are never logged) but other household cleaning…

I track until 9 cups then I don't worry about keeping track for the rest of the day. That's on top of my non-water beverages (coffee/milk/tea/flavored sparkling water).

When I go for sushi, I start with a salad (100 calories with the ginger dressing), and then get 2 rolls. I LOVE sushi. Since starting to watch what I eat, I do not get tempura, but that is a personal preference. Generally I get a Spicy Tuna Roll (290 calories) and an Eel (Unagi) and avocado Roll (372 calories). Sushi is a…

We make packets of veggies (potatoes, carrots, peppers, onion) drizzle a little Olive Oil over them and thrown them on the coals in the fire to cook. Yummy! There's always the low fat hot dogs (Oscar Mayer makes an all beef light one now- 60 calories per hotdog. They also have the turkey dogs- 50 calories each). If you…

I would love to see Rupert Grint sign on...so the Doctor can finally be a ginger.

Please feel free to add me (anyone else too). I am not a Pagan, but I am extremely open minded person who has researched just about every religion and have always felt that there is something that can be taken from them all. Technically I am a Catholic...but I am probably the most open minded Catholic in the world and was…

Anyone can add me! I have found the support of friends on here to be extremely helpful.

I read this wrong at first. I thought you wrote "bacon of awesome". I was like...yes...yes, bacon is awesome. Lol. I think I'm calorie deprived. I only ate 1200 calories today. I need a piece of bacon... Haha

Mine is open...add me. :-)

I sometimes log things ahead of time when I KNOW what I am eating to see how many calories I have "leftover". I did it today (logging my lunch and a snack in before I ate them) because I wanted to plan dinner and to see what I am working with as far as calories for the rest of the day. Again, I don't do it all the time.…

You can do this! I find that this site helps tremendously. Feel free to add me if you want the online support and a cheerleader on your weight loss journey. SO many of us are in the same boat as you.

I guess I feel differently than you or even the parents of this child because I always use common sense. Walking with a child on an overpass, would I ever place the child on the railing? No. Going to a touristy scenic overlook would I ever place a child on top of the railing? No. Climbing up a lighthouse and looking out…

I'll add you! I really find that the support of friends on here is very helpful.

Against. As someone who has been to that zoo many times, I can assure you that there are plenty of signs posted everywhere warning people not to lift their kids on the rails. I have a 2 year old nephew and would never dream of sitting him on a railing at that zoo. As sad as this is, the fault lies with the mother.

I will add you- I definitely find that the support of friends on here is very helpful and I am always more than encouraging to my friends as well!

I'll add you. This is my 2nd go at MFP too.

I bought PB2 for smoothies too. I use 1 frozen banana, 6oz light vanilla yogurt, 2 Tbs of PB2, splash of skim milk to make smooth. I also throw in some chocolate syrup sometimes too. The other way I use it is for a lighter milkshake- I use light chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt, PB2, and skim milk.

La Tortilla Factory, "Smart & Delicious" are my favorite too- I can always find them at my local Walmart stores.

If you want to cut the calories WAY back in lasagna you can use zucchini or eggplant (or both) in place of the noodles. It's delicious! Just slice the zucchini or eggplant super thin, lay out on paper towels and sprinkle with a little salt- this helps "sweat" out the water so the lasagna is more firm since there is so much…

I have a piece of low fat string cheese (50 calories) or reduced fat Colby jack (60 calories) almost every day. Heck sometimes 2 pieces. I fit it into my diet because I love it so much. It's my afternoon snack. Occassionally I will also get Babybel or Laughing Cow instead.
