  • If you count it as one of your meals, you should do well but as with anything else, you must count the calories..
  • I have been on steriods for nine years. While it is true they can cause you to feel hungry everybody is different. I have lost 32 lbs on MFP. and still take my prednisone. Just count your calories and you will do just fine....
  • why don't you call them and ask all your questions? They will be glad to help you.
  • I drink a lot of ice tea and yes I count it as water. But it does flush me out and I urinate a lot, but that cannot be all bad....

  • the best way to stick with the program is to eat a variety of things. Like a tomato, broccoli, cabbage with vinegar, green beans
  • Hi there I too am trying a lot of wt, sixty lbs by October, my neice is getting married. But in the meantime I have to have surg on both my knees due to severe Rheum Arth. So good luck to you, you may friend me, I am a lot older but you may get some tips from me. don't worry if you have trouble sticking to it we all do,…
  • I think the best part of this serv ice is recording, AND making new friends. This is a lifetime commitment and it gets easier the longer we do it. Good luck to you, just take it one day at a time.
  • Hi Sarah, I got a weight watcher scale at christmas, it it the one that does everthing, but I only use it to weigh me, it is too fancy. but it is on thirty dollars. I love it because it is digital, and marks off your wt loss at .11 increments. Good Luck.
  • I make bread in spirts, I will make homemade bread for a month then. stop for a while. But I usually use my bread machine I cut the salt in half, or at least by one/third, add extra yeast, and sub one cup of wheat flour for the bread flour. I always bake the dough in my oven. I really want to start making breakfast bread.…
  • I got married at 21, finacee was 22, 42 yrs ago. I thought he was funny, handsome, smart, and we were very happy for a long time. But people change, so if you are happy and want to move in with him I say go for it. But be very aware, people really do change, the secret is for both of you to change at the same time. So…
  • I am sooooo happy for you. I do know how you feel, I keep taking clothes out of my closet and putting them on and when I look in the mirror and hour later I realyze the top is waaaay to big. So I finally cleaned out my closet and donated my tops and two pair of pants. I never realyzed how good it would make me feel.
  • won't it be great when you are the smallest?
  • It seems to me , and believeme, I have a lot of experience, family is the worst at offending us. If you can just figure out why you can't stand up to them and tell them, "Yes I have gained some wt, I don't need anyone to point it out to me, thank you for your concern, but I need to take care of it my own way, thank you.."""
  • I count cleaning and cooking as excercise. I almost never eat my calories burned, it just does not make any sense to me to burn them off then eat them back. But I have severe Rheumotoid Arth., and as I await my first surg date. If my pain level is down to a 5 - 6 area and after doing laundery or cleaning the kitchen it is…
  • How great, I know your work was very hard, but soooo worth it.............
  • You got a lot of great replies, I think my favorite was written many times. You will lose your wt, she cannot lose her *****iness. Please do not let her rudeness put you into a funk. God bless you :smooched:  :flowerforyou:
  • I tried to keep crackers at my bedside. Two crackers and I am back to sleep. But walking to the kitchen, really wakes me up. I have trouble with nausea, becvause of the meds that I take.
  • I love them too. I can eat a half of a bag for a snack. If my salt intake is low for the day I treat myself to some salt. But I never even thought about growing my own, I am definitely going to do that this spring.
  • I doubt seriously that she is going to know what the number is. But if she brought home a copy of her labs it will on there. But I am an RN, and my advice is to for you to call the drs office and see when your mom can go back. You go too and talk to the dr. The dr will not talk with you without her permission I did this…
  • google the company and ask them. Believe me, the companies are very willing to answer your questions.
  • I grew up in downriver, first in Dearborn Heights, then Southgate. But moved to the South in 1968. Good Luck to everyone...
  • I have to struggle to eat my 1300 calories, after reading all the advice about starvation mode. I just decided to do what is best for me. If I hit 1100 a day I am happy. Due to disablities I do not get a lot of excercise so this works for me. It is sort of like getting a lee way. Good luck, you will figure out what works…
  • I also love this site, and how ironic that you write in about keeping track. My sister is a pro at entering recipes, and while I have entered a few the one i entered today is not going the right way. Based on the spag sauce I used and the number of people it should feed and the ground turkey, I am getting something like 60…
  • I lost a very close friend to breast cancer, and over the course of a six year fight to beat it, she was told by her dr to only eat butter. My family was already eating just butter due to a son allergic to soy. If you read the box for margerine and fake butter it has many chemicals in it. So do you want chemicals that…
  • use diet bread, add the condiment you want to usebag it small baggie. Place meat, cheese, veggies in a separate bag. Put it together at lunch time. Doing it this way and you won't have soggy bread. Place it in a bag or cooler, don't forget some fruit, and maybe a low cal treat. This can be a cheap and quick way to have a…

  • I am often in the same boat..... I use stool softners. I also eat a LOT of fruit, but I started baking whole wheat bread and eating at least one slice a day, and the problem stopped. Homemade bread has no preservatives. You may not be able bake your own bread, but maybe you could buy some at a local bakery, remember to…
  • I have the same problem, if I drink too much water I am up all night (like every hour) peeing. I very happy if make it to seven glasses, I only worry if it is five. I stop drinking water, except to take my meds, at 4 pm. good luck......
