Personally, I try to limit my intake of "starchy" foods. I always look for complex carbs such as fruits and veggies and whole wheat because they have fiber and keep you full longer. I tend to stay away from white bread and rice.

Don't listen to them! I used to get stares while running at the gym, and not the good kind. But here's the thing. You are changing your body, and working hard for it. Props to you for running! Thats how I lost 20 pounds this summer! Keep up the great work, you can do it!

YES! However, you have to be true to it. Even if you go way over your calories, make sure you add in your food. You are only cheating yourself if you dont! Scales dont lie! I don't usually use them, because it takes too much of the fat in my diary. What I usually do (if i'm really hungry), is eat two egg whites and one whole egg.
