Ok, cool that helps :) I'm no expert, but my typical week consists of 2-3 runs (long run (every 10-14 days works best for me), tempo run, intervals), plus 1-2 pump classes, 1-2 body balance or yoga sessions and I've just added in at home kettlebell workouts. I work hard on 4-5 days and have 2-3 days to rest and recover. I…

What kind of moving do you enjoy? The best suggestions are going to be ones that include things that interest you :)

Way too much, too soon :)

There's a couch 2 10k app, maybe check that out?

I'm 103kg, 6 months into exercising and I love pump and body balance :) My week is made up of a variety of things..... eg Monday- Pump 1hr Tuesday-Pump express (1/2hr), 30 mins outdoor tempo run and body balance ex (1/2hr) which is done one after the other. Wednesday-Rest day Thursday- 6-8km walk (up to 90mins) or interval…

Do you have any recent running experience? I think you're trying for too much, too soon and would think that aiming to walk/run the 5k would be doable for you, not just running it.

Push on if you're not injured. Run slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwly and you'll be fine. It's designed to build you up and it's hard, but totally doable. Good luck! ps I started c25k in January and can now run up to 12km without stopping (except for stopping to grab a drink). It's been amazing and I have gone from never running in my…

I love BP and have definitely increased my strength. I can lift my kids up and throw them around like I've never been able to before and I love it! BP is my fav class and I do it 2-3 times a week, run 2-3 times a week and do body balance 2 times a week.

I smile, or after 10km I am likely to only be able to grimace, but I do put an effort in ;)
-
Another c25k fan here :) Also, what surface are you running on?
-
I've been running for six months and the only time that I ran two days in a row it was HELL. Don't do it ;)
-
I started c25k in early January and just today ran 12k using 2/2 breathing. I am able to run comfortably doing it that way, so just try it out and do whatever works for you. It does get easier, I promise :)

I have flat feet and overpronate. I was fitted and ended up with Mizuno Wave Paradox, which are totally brilliant when running, but nowhere near as comfy for walking. I get a pain in one foot (I can't remember where lol), so don't wear them for walking if I can get away with it.

Yes it's happened to me, but I think it resolved itself the following month or close to it?

I'm a sweater too and I don't like it, but there's not much I can do about it so I have to accept it.

Great news Denise.

No I don't

How tall are you? Are you constantly putting on weight, or are you stable at your current weight?

I have had it for the last 20 years, but when I tried cutting out gluten my flare ups pretty much stopped. They had been increasing in frequency and severity, but now I might get one a month? I am also sweating more than I ever have, but that's not making any difference for me. Good luck you guys, it's just horrible and so…
