No, you're completely wrong! If you don't eat past 7, you'll lose your muscle mass!
-
I measure every few weeks and round to the nearest .25" (since when you measure, you're not going to measure in the exact same place every time). Don't worry about the scale, just worry about inches. I've lost only 6lbs since January, but I've lost almost 2" off my waist.
-
Exactly! I can't arch my back that much, but still you can have some arch.
-
It actually uses the pecs more than the back.
-
Ha! I love these! I use these whenever I switch to a 5x5 program, though I'm not flexible enough to do them from the floor (need to use the power rack).
-
Really? I never see it, and I go to a body-builder and power lifter oriented gym....maybe they're doing it when I'm not there. I never saw it at Golds or LA Fitness when I worked out there.
-
Lol, which knock off did you buy? I haven't had any problems.
-
Lol you thought the same thing too! I've been spending too much time on Bodybuilding and T-Nation.
-
99% of this site won't understand this lol.
-
When I can barely move the next day.
-
Nope....I can barely walk to the car after a good leg workout.
-
I deduce that the previous post is not correct. (At least most of you realize that this is all in good fun.....)
-
Also check out websites like Bodybuilding.com and a lot of new lifters like NerdFitness.com (though I haven't spent much time on the site).
-
Buy knock off, works just as well.
-
I don't.
-
^^^^ I disagree, if its been said, why reaffirm?
-
But its not what we heard, its whats listed on their website and from what the management says first hand.
-
According to your body pump instructor, but it can touch your chest.
-
If you want to get stronger on bench, do the "power lifter pause" at your chest. Instead of bouncing it off your chest, which is really cheating (hey, I'm guilty of it too), pause for a brief second at your chest, then explode up.
-
I thought about it, but I don't have the cash to register.
-
If all you're going to use at the gym is an elliptical, then buy one. If you plan on using weights (which you should), then get a gym membership.
-
Ditto on never ever going to work out there. Exertion is part of exercise, and sometimes you let an involuntary grunt. Just imagine if someone sounded an alarm during sex for letting out an involuntary moan, that's the lunk alarm! PF also brags about how many tootsie rolls, pizza, and bagels they give out each month on…

Its the most important thing you do. Eat a combo of good carbs and protein.
-
If you want to try to keep some of the muscle, yes.
-
2 hours is a high amount for me....and my time is usually split 2/3 weight training and 1/3 cardio. I'm usually in there 1 1/2 hours on average.
-
Is it possible...sure. Is it probable...nope. On The Biggest Loser, contestants are placed in an extreme situation that shocks their body into losing that much weight. If you exercised 4+ hours a day and put yourself on a very strict diet, no cheating at all, then that would give you the greatest possibility. Just keep in…
-
The only way to spot reduce is to lose weight everywhere.
-
Ideally you should exercise when you first wake up, before breakfast, to maximize fat burning (if that's your goal). However, like the previous poster said, do it whenever you can fit in in your life.
-
I'd concentrate on over all core training, not just abs. Like other posters said, the big 3 (squats, deads, bench) also use your core effectively.
-
After, because you'll need more energy to lift weights safely than do cardio safely.
