  • you can cook the spaghetti squash in the microwave. Poke holes in it (like a microwaved baked potato), cook whole for about 6-10 min, let cool, then scrape with a fork. How long depends on how big it is. easy alfredo sauce: 8 oz light cream cheese 1/3 stick butter 2 C milk (skim is fine) 6 oz parm cheese (the shredded…
  • It came in the mail yesterday. Couldn't wait. Today I did firestarter, ab igniter and stretch 10. Took about 65 min, burned 550 cal (per my HRM). I'm liking it! May not wait until December to start after all.
  • My healthy alternative is to keep 1 or 2 pieces for myself then give the rest away to friends/family/neighbors/co-workers. Everyone loves me! And I get to stay thin and have a taste. Plus, I try to find healthier options and make those. Love pinterest and trying new things there.
  • no answer for you, sorry. I too ordered turbofire. Probably won't start it for another month, will be away from home and not sure what equipment I may have available. Now I'm doing some insanity and some p90x. May play with some of the DVD's between now and then though. Looks like a good program though.
  • <---zombie black swan for the zombie buffet 5k last weekend. I was a Toddlers and Tiaras contestant for another party (note I was NOT Honey Boo Boo). woot! first time to successfully add a photo!!
  • I'm 5'7'' (7.5 on good days) and quickly approaching 40. I started out July 2011 at about 155-158. Did boot camp at local university from July 11-July 12. Starting in Jan 12, I added in a second workout, completed p90x, then insanity. In August, I stopped bootcamp and started working out with hubby in the evening (still do…
  • In Tennessee (not too much better than Arkansas) I can think of the RC and MoonPie festival and this weekend I'm running in the Goo Goo Cluster hog and jog. Unfortunately, I'll end up in the red on Saturday thanks to the requirement of eating 6 goo goo clusters (which is like a candy bar but round, peanuts, caramel,…
  • Tide Sport with Febreeze. Amazing! Love it. Makes putting on sports bra and breaking a sweat actually smell nice!
  • Very uncreative, but I use the sugar free syrups from Torani. Love the caramel and french vanilla. Wish they made (or if they do, I could find) a sugar free pumpkin spice syrup.
  • Honey boo boo is so bad, but its like a trainwreck.. I just cant look away. Toddlers and tiara's is awesome too. I also loved my big fat gypsy wedding. I think the dressmaker from the American version has a show soon, Bling it on.

  • I finished it and am mixing it in with my other workouts now. I'm almost 40. I had no problems with it. There is a woman over 40 in the dvds. its more about fitness than age. it will kick your butt. you may (most likely) not be able keep up with the people on the videos, its okay. they take breaks too! if you get it thru…
  • I have a polar, less than 6mo old. The straps are elastic with a plastic like area that detects the HR and the transmitter is hard plastic. Other than seeing the hard part below my breast, I don't know I'm wearing it. I always leave it on until I shower. I was the strap in the shower daily to keep it clean.
  • There's Insanity Asylum. you could repeat Insanity. I opted to do an insanity/p90x hybrid program. After completing insanity, the biggest problem I've had is finding cardio that's as intense. Which is why I'm doing the hybrid. I get the benefits of strength days (from p90x) and then do insanity for cardio days. You can…
  • most impressive Sandy! Way to be accountable.
  • I've done both 30ds, didn't finish it, I got bored. Also have finished insanity. Insanity is much tougher and will bring results, if you stick with it. After Insanity, I can't go back to normal cardio. Its so intense and I am a sweaty mess but I feel GREAT! I do one of the workouts almost every morning now. It starts the…
  • That is amazing. Great job!!
  • maybe core and balance. not exactly the same, but lower intensity for sure. or yoga.
  • heres a topic posted earlier this week full of pumpkin recipes: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/729505-all-things-pumpkin?hl=pumpkin
  • http://www.lifesawheeze.com/p/running-costumes.html LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Wonder Woman costume.
  • The best way is with a HRM with chest strap. Polar is very reputable. I have a ft40 and love it. If you don't have one, get one or start saving to get one when you can. Short of that, you can use circuit training for p90x; alternatively there is a website p90xcalories.com that can be used. I can't help with the RevAbs;…
  • I don't "squeeze it in." I schedule it. My alarm goes off at 4:45 so I can get it done and then get lunch ready and get myself out the door by 7:10. On the weekend, I get up and get it done before hubby gets up. Or if he wants to work out too and we have a plan for the day, we set the clock to get up early. My health and…
  • Do something different. If the weather is nice, go for a run, bike ride. Try to find a friend to go to the gym or outside. I stopped going to gym about 3 weeks ago, hubby wanted to do p90x together. Although I am tired and have to change into work out clothes as soon as I get home or my butt gets glued to the couch, I…
  • i think its from skinny taste. I like her stuffed buffalo chicken breasts more. I've made both. Of course I'm a fan of all things buffalo flavored. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/07/stuffed-buffalo-chicken-breasts.html
  • great results peachy!!!
  • Getting up early sucks, but knowing that you are done before you have coffee/go to work, is GREAT! I know that my workout is done before most people's day has started. If you are feeling it, you can even throw in an after work workout in too. I wake up early on the weekends and get it done early then too. it becomes habit…
  • so 600 takes you about 9 min (1.5min per 100). I'd guess no more than 90. THat is a rough guess. And with that being said, that would be if you did them all together. I very rarely burn more than 10cal/min on the highest intensity stuff I do (insanity or maybe bootcamp HIIT cardio day). It also depends on your size/fitness…
  • there is NO way that I can read on the elliptical. Initially, I listened to the radio but finally bought a small TV and mounted it nearby. I pop in a dvd or watch something on the DVR and its 45 min later.
  • I made it thru a month of the insanity/p90x hybrid. I absolutely loved it but stopped because my hubby wanted to do p90x with me. I used the schedule from trek2befit.com. It's slightly different from beachbody's. I have done both programs separately, p90x first adn then insanity. I lost about 10 pounds with p90x and then…
