  • Great results. Love the guns!! 40+ women ROCK!!
  • I have it but am waiting (hopefully, if I can contain myself) until next Monday. I'm doing recovery week this week (and travelling for the holiday weekend) so will be ready by Monday. Woo Hoo!!!
  • Beeps, you did amazing!! Fantastic results.
  • I'll add my favorite, Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate Lowfat ice cream, no added sugar. It has 90 calories and is almost indistinguishable from ice cream. I also have sherbet often, often fat free, but has 100+ calories per half cup. I'm having the blue bell as I type.
  • new, awesome date night and NSV! helpers, I only lost 30 pounds (in the last 1.5 yrs, but more very slowly, I was a size 14 about 7-8 years ago, down to an 8-10 before I really started going hard core, now down to a 2-4). I think I look good in photos but when I look at myself in the mirror, I have trouble seeing the "new…
  • I had a cut/color yesterday and asked the stylist not to take too much time drying it as I had hot power yoga 2 hours after my appointment, plus I was the last person in the salon and they were ready to go home. I had recovery this morning and was happy to have it. Great job improving your numbers on the fit test.
  • Hey all, I fell off the topic board for a week or two, life has kept me RUNNING crazy!!! I have kept on track with my eating (mostly) and working out. I am in week 4 (recovery) of my insanity/p90x hybrid. My weight has increased a couple of pounds, I hope it muscle mass. Everything still fits the same and I'm okay with the…
  • Because I love how I feel after I finish a crazy routine Because I love my body now more than ever before Because I CAN! Because I love how my husband looks at me naked (and clothed too) Because I CAN! Because I want to see those damn ab muscles Why not?
  • Great progress beeps!! I agree with the diet. I can work out all day and love it, but I gotta have some chocolate everyday. I just make sure to keep enough calories for it, and make better choices otherwise.
  • Good luck with the report, hope its all good news! Chug the water. I aim for a gallon every day, I'm pretty good during the week, but the weekend I slack some. Staying on track with my p90x/insanity hybrid. I ended up skipping my rest day Sunday so that it can be on Saturdays in the future. My body really wanted the rest…
  • Kelly Sue-- awesome improvement in your labs. A1c dropping that much is amazing!! You rock! No doubt you were "patient of the day." helpers- great loss! way to take charge and make a change. lcuconley-- glad the knee is better. Sometimes I have to take a few days off if mine starts hurting. Glucosamine and a patellar band…
  • Hey all!! Great job working out today. This morning was shoulders and arms. I did okay, able to finish them all. Trying to up my weight, goal is to be able to all sets in the 8-10 range instead of 12-15. Tonight is hot yoga/power yoga, which is my favorite yoga class. Tonight we start a new series of poses; we build to…
  • Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I did my workout this morning before work (my typical time). Shaun T kicked my butt and I loved it. I had to wipe the sweat off the floor before doing cardio abs. Didn't want to fall during the tuck jumps. I'm feeling a little (a lot really) sore from the push up and pull ups from…
  • Hey guys, I turned 40 last month. Can I join the cool kids gang? A little about me, I just finished 20 weeks of turbofire, and took a couple weeks of recovery time and today started a p90x/insanity hybrid. I'm in maintenance mode for now, looking to shed a little fat and get some more muscles. Thanks!!
  • I went from 36c to 34, probably more like 32B's. I lost about 30 pounds total, but lost a ton of fat and gained some muscle. I'm happy for padded bras!!
  • p90x yoga is great, so is fountain of youth yoga (it's from Tony Horton's One on One series), it about 45-50 minutes. You can also find some good workouts on youtube. I have this one saved, but haven't done it yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLi93EIHx5o&feature=related
  • Fantastic transformation! Way to go!!!
  • ^^ TRUTH!! I prefer mine shorter, but its my preference. I've rocked every length from pixie to long (half way down my back) and I feel better in short to medium length and sexiness comes from inside and how I feel about myself.
  • Agree with above, 3 pounds is AWESOME!!! When getting near my goal, if I lost a pound a month, I was doing well.
  • it can take forever. I transferred from one va to another and it took 9 months! Submit application, wait 3 months for interview then it took 6 months for the two to coordinate my move date. patience is key! Oh, and good luck!
  • I got you beat. I saw him and danced onstage with him, not in his hay-day but in 2005 or 06. To top it off, I saw students I had lectured earlier in the day in the audience! big time win. On my ipod, I have push it, boom, I got your boyfriend, and whip it to name a few.
  • 1. banana oat muffins: http://pinterest.com/pin/185140234653787501/ 2. freeze them for smoothies or "ice cream" treat 3. I think you can use the peels around plants for fertilizer (but I've not done that, so I can't attest to its effectiveness).
  • Sometimes I wear basketball shorts. Sometimes yoga pants, but I sweat a LOT and shorts are more comfy to me. I just want them long enough not to show my rear to the people behind me.
  • I try to do it a couple times a week (in addition to whatever program I'm doing... beachbody junkie). I really like power yoga and hot yoga/yoga fusion. I love the challenge of getting better and improving my flexibility. Just last week I was able to get in 8 angle pose. I'm looking forward to doing the next challenging…
  • I found this recipe here (mfp), I changed peanut butter to pb2 and added protein powder: Homemade No Bake Granola/Protein Bars 1 and 1/4 cups crisp rice cereal 1 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed (flaxseed meal) 1/4 cup finely chopped dried fruit (used Craisons) 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts or…
  • ice cream, more specifically DQ cupcakes. Just finished my last one (HB to me!).
  • I say get it. I've had issues with missed connections, almost not making it to the dock before the boat left (thanks to delayed flights) and also a sick hubby (bronchitis) which required him to visit the ships doctor a couple times while at sea. All of it was covered thanks to our travel insurance. I can't offer…
  • fantastic job!! you don't even look like the same person.
