  • I know it sucks big time, but you will get back out there and you will kill it. Take your frustrations out on your next workout. Make sure to get plenty of food, water and sleep before hand.
  • diet soda cupcakes. 1 cake mix, 1 can of diet soda, mix, cook according to package directions. Use sprite for light colored (strawberry, white, yellow) cakes and diet coke for darker mixes (chocolate, spice). No eggs, no oil, just the calories from the cake mix. can make a lighter frosting with light cream cheese, some…
  • You'll need pull up bar, or bands. I used bands my first time through. You'll also need weights, or you can use the bands again. Get good quality bands, I've heard more than one person say their's broke. I did not have that problem. You will need lots of protein, lots of will power and determination. Don't get discouraged,…
  • Very similar here, 39 and 18 (between 17-19)% depending on method used. I think it just means you/we are more athletic--at least that is the way I interpreted the article. I just received a great check up from my physician.
  • I am drenched in sweat. It was so bad that my hubby bought me an industrial size fan for our basement after seeing me during Insanity workouts. At the gym, the trainer "can tell it was a good workout if you look like you already showered."
  • Mine only started when I began insanity. My cat, or Coach as I like to call him watches me do the cardio stuff but anytime I'm still for more than 10 seconds, he has to come help me stretch further or play with the drawstrings on my shorts, not so fun in the high plank/low plank of cardio abs. Hubby bought me an industrial…
  • I saw this on pinterest tonight. Haven't made it, but looks yummy! also several links to other sketti squash recipes: http://www.familyfreshcooking.com/2012/01/02/spaghetti-squash-sesame-noodles-recipe/
  • skinnytaste undressed skeleton eatingwell Skinnytaste is my favorite!!
  • I made a spaghetti squash pizza pie last week. It didn't hold up like a real crust, it might have needed an egg for a better binder. 1 spaghettti squash cooked and out of skin/shell 1 oz light cream cheese 1/3c parm cheese 1-2 cloves of garlic **probably should add an egg or egg beater to help it hold together** Mix above…
  • Just to speed things up, you can cook the spaghetti squash in the microwave. Poke it with a fork (like baked potatoes), then cook for 5-6 min/pound. When done, cut in half. When cool enough to handle, just shred it out with a fork. Works very well. I make a quick alfredo sauce with LF cream cheese, garlic, butter, parm…
  • Absolutely wonderful results. Just so you know, when you left, she/he probably talked you up to the rest of her patients for the day, maybe even the week. I know I love to talk up the improvements to my patients and hear some of the other providers doing the same.
  • great job girl!!! Loved watching your progression.
  • I haven't done x stretch with my HRM, but can use p90xcalories.com for an estimate. for insanity recovery, last time I did it, I only burned 65 calories. for what its worth, I'm a 130 pound female with about 16-17% bf. Much lower than the poster above me.
  • I tied resistance bands around the stair/bannister my first round of p90x. Worked well. Lost about 10 pounds and several % body fat. This time around (p90x/insanity hybrid), i installed a bar in a door frame.
  • Love, love, love it. Had jalepeno popper stuffed chicken breasts for dinner and hummingbird cupcakes for dessert. The stuffed buffalo chicken breasts are to die for!! I could eat them 5 days a week!!
  • Great results!!
  • 6oz of dressing, I hope that's a typo. If not, thats tons of dressing, try lower calories non mayo based dressing. I'm older than you, but same height and right around 130. It took a year to get 20 pounds off but I am thrilled with my results. I work out about 10h/week. Finished p90x, and insanity. now doing a hybrid of…
  • did shoulders and arms today. My arms/chest are still sore from Monday, but I love the soreness!! I lost some of my strength during insanity! Tomorrow is cardio recovery for me. Hope everyone is doing well!
  • Started day 1 of insanity/p90x hybrid today. Definitely going to be hurting tomorrow, in the good way. Started with chest/back and cardio abs. How did everyone else's Monday go?
  • http://curiouscountrycook.blogspot.com/2012/03/zucchini-tots.html these tots are really good, I used 2% cheese and egg beaters to reduce the calories/fat. also these: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/08/pineapple-zucchini-cupcakes-with-cream.html I used splenda instead of sugar and egg beaters instead of eggs. Left the oil…
  • Do you have a HRM? If so, it is more accurate than picking something here. I rarely burned 600 calories with either p90x or insanity. I'm starting a hybrid with p90x and insanity Monday. You can do it! P90x is a great program. I am excited to start some mornings with Tony again!
  • Way to go everyone! I just finished this week and will be starting a hybrid with p90x next week. Get to spend some quality morning time with both Shawn T and Tony.
  • If you want strength training, you would probably prefer p90x. it has strength days mixed with cardio. insanity is mainly cardio, plus some push ups for upper body. I've finished both and enjoy both immensely.
  • my profile pic is my before (after 6mo of bootcamp classes), after p90x (with bootcamp), and after insanity (with bootcamp). Finished this week. Next week, I'm starting a p90x/insanity hybrid.
  • thankfully I can shut my door because the calls are often loud otherwise I would have some odd looks.
  • 150 (more but quit counting at 150) done. first 100 done in 3 in heels during a conference call. Rest done at bootcamp class with 18 or 22 pound body bar overhead.
