I don't ever rely on MFP for calories burned. I think it overestimates, which will set you up for failure. I use what the machine tells me I burned. If I walk the dog at night, I still use what the treadmill I use everyday would have calculated. For example, I walk the treadmill some days for 60 minutes. I know that I…

I count calories in order to hold myself accountable and also to be aware of what I'm eating. If I don't, I tend to start eating more than I should thus gain weight. Whatever works for each individual.

Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat so if you are going to increase your weight training, you may see your weight jump up some when you get on the scale. I wouldn't let that bother you though.

Perhaps he should've been the one to carry and give birth to FOUR kids! There's other ways he can motivate you besides telling you he's not physically attracted to you. Positive reinforcement. He looks like he could use some improvements too. Nobody is perfect. True beauty is on the inside and I think you are beautiful…

I was trying to wipe off the treadmill and I tripped and fell flat on my face. My co-worker was on the treadmill next to mine.

I thing it is hard to see the difference in ourselves because you see your body everyday so the change may seem minimal. How do your clothes feel? I truly bet you . 25lbs is a lot. Post some pics. Be proud to have accomplished that.

I drink about 5-6, 20 oz bottles of water everyday and a small glass of 100% prune juice at night. Keeps me pretty cleaned out! :)

You should have said what you wanted to say...he may be deaf tho. lol! He's just crabby cuz he's old and near the end. If you've lost 28 lbs in 3 months...That's FANTASTIC...give yourself a pat on the back. It takes real dedication and hard work to accomplish that. Don't let some old codger getcha down.

NO, NO, NO. The absolute minimum is 1200 (for women).

Up your calories to at least 1200. Your body will think it's starving and hold on to the fat. If you exercise regularly, you need to some or all of thos burned calories back so that you net 1200. Otherwise, you will stay the same. Good luck!

I'm doing 1200 per day too but make sure to net some of those exercise calories. I think you're supposed to net 1200. I work out after lunch, which usually wipes out anything I've eaten that day, so I always have plenty of calories to have a decent dinner. So much that I can't usually use them up. My problem is that I keep…
