On Weds. I had moles on my face removed and a very small benign tumor removed from my leg. I thought that when I made my appt, they would schedule an appt for me to come back and have the procedures done. Nope! They wanted to do it right then and there. I was scared because I was afraid it would hurt and I wasn't mentally…

I have a sugar daddy so I don't have to work.

During my annual visit to my gynecologist. He paused and moved back a bit but never said anything. I wanted to die. Nothing has compared since.

I would too! Especially if I was decorating cakes. I'm not sure if it's from the bending, twisting and leaning over, but if I spend hours decorating, I'm exhausted and sore. It bothers me more than running 6 miles. lol

I don't care what other people log. Only they know what kind of exercise, if any, that they get. For me, it depends.... I have several pals who log it but some of them prepare all of their food for the week or log prepping food at a job. I personally only log it if I'm having a party with 100 people coming and I clean my…

I love my digital scale because I can weigh foods in oz, grams or kg. You need to get one you can TARE so it doesnt add the weight of the container you're using. I got mine at walmart and it works great. It doesnt have a name on it but it has a see thru glass top. I'm glad I have it because I checked on the 1 serving of…

Peel them, wrap in saran wrap and freeze them! I never throw out a banana. We use them in smoothies, oatmeal and rarely, due to the calories, banana bread.

That is really sad. Maybe giving birth to this child will be her wake up call to get healthy. The way she's whining though, she's probably used to getting her way and it ticked her off because she was told the word NO.. I worked in the medical field and protocol is protocol. You can't change it and if you do, you lose your…

At the gym I go to, years ago they had a hottub in each locker room. I would use it as a treat to myself for having worked out really hard and always looked forward to it, so I used it often. There was a door near it that the maintenance man had access to the pump, chemicals, etc., and I would ALWAYS hear someone back…

To all of the people who keep saying, JUST EAT THEM, the main reason most of us don't want to eat the yolk is because of the calories. We try to increase our protein by eating just the white, instead of gulping scoops of nasty protein powder. When I first started MFP and didn't know how to eat right, I sometimes ate 8 egg…

I feed them to my cat. The vet says it's ok and she loves them.

I couldn't find any overnight steel cut oats recipes online that I could use in my prehistoric crockpot so I made up my own and it turned out awesome! 1 cup steelcut oats 3 1/2 cups water one small container of sugar free, natural applesauce 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon a bit of freshly grated nutmeg 3 tsp brown sugar,…

My niece stayed overnight with me when she was four or so. I heard her in the other room crying so I asked her what was wrong. She just sobbed and sobbed saying her cheese was 'weak'. I was like wth? She held up a slice of cheese I had given her earlier, it had gotten warm and 'flopped over' when she held it up. lol I took…

Me too! Haha I thought I was the only one. That cold, nasty crunch that hurts your teeth. Ewww

Thanks, I'll def. try the middle one. :)

Thanks so much! I love refrigerator oatmeal but I thought you couldn't use steel cut oats. I'll def. try these. :)

my phobias: anything besides my man that brushes against my body in a lake, spiders, roaches and parasites. things I hate: biting into a wooden popsicle stick, hairs in anything, leeches and that awful feeling when you know you're going to 'land' wrong during a fall.

I rarely wear makeup anymore and I love it, feel cleaner and don't miss it at all. I will wear it on special occasions, but not very often and it's minimal. But, like someone else said, I do paint my nails more often and I dress nicer, since I fit into better looking clothes. I can't wait to get to my goal and to buy more…

I'm 51, have lifted on and off for years. I had back issues a few months back, had an mri of my spine and was told by the Dr. that I have the bones of an 18 year old. I attribute that to all of the walking and lifting, and probably just old fashioned gardening I've done over the years. I'm sold on it.
-
I could easily handle 5 year olds, but put me in a room with 3 year olds and I'm dead.

That looks like Healthy Life whole wheat bread. If it is it's only 35 calories per slice

I completely agree. Something(s) must happen before we can do this. For me it was a few things.. I found out I was pre-diabetic. I suddenly found myself with blood pressure of 190/110! I had a small stroke in November. I got up Christmas Eve in 2011, got on the scale and weighed 179. I refused to hit 180. Ever A fat pic of…

It's easier, healthier and cheaper to suppress your appetite by eating real food...

Some foods naturally have sodium in them that you can't avoid, but there are ways to cut back. Canned, processed & a lot of frozen foods have a LOT of sodium. This is what I did....first of all, buy fresh food, not processed, & read labels!! Frozen fruits and veggies are OK, if there isn't a bunch of sauce and cheese added…

Diet wont change a chemical imbalance in your brain. I get annoyed when people think it will. Yeah, less caffeine may lessen 'jitters and shaking' but it's not going to cure the problem. See a Dr., dont fear meds, don't take more than prescribed & you'll feel much better. Good luck, you'll do fine. <hugs>

Vegetable beef soup! This makes a bigg batch and you can use chicken instead of beef if you want. 2lbs lean eye of round beef roast 1 box of low sodium beef broth 1 bottle of low sodium V8 juice 1 large onion, chopped 4 large potatoes, diced 4 carrots, sliced 2 stalks celery, sliced 1 large can of diced tomatoes 1 can corn…

I agree. I'm going through the same thing. After losing 40lbs, I started running and then kind of hit a plateau. I started lifting 3 1/2 weeks ago, the scale has barely moved and if it does, it's UP, not down. I've been measuring too and the only thing that's smaller is my waist. It's not much but I'll take it and just…

We married young (18 & 20) and are going on 34 years. We even started dating when we were 15 and 17 so we've known each other even longer. We have had good times, bad times, infidelity, the WORST you could ever imagine bad times, bad health, good health, loss of 4 babies, deaths (including our parents), financial problems,…
