  • I'm in! 11/4- 2.13 miles
  • We won't have an U/S until 20 weeks but we did get to hear the hb last week- and I will again at 14 weeks. So, so happy to be feeling slightly better. I actually made it to the gym 2 times last week. Now to get my snacking/junk food binges back under control :)
  • EDD April 18 :) It will be our first.
  • Look into purchasing some workout videos or doing ones free online. You can do them from the comfort of your own living room whether it is hot or cold out. I recently quit my gym membership because I do Jillian Michaels and yoga videos and go for walks/runs during okay weather.
  • I use 3lb weights and it works great for me...at the moment (I'm on L1D5) I would be too afraid to try anything heavier. When I first started (the first time, this is round 3 or 4 for me...yikes) by husband bought me 5lb weights trying to be helpful. I had him try and use them and he only got through about 5 minutes ;)…
  • I drink black and ice cold. I don't particularly like the taste, it definitely took some getting used to, but since it is cold it is easier to drink quickly.
  • How old were you when you got engaged? 25 How long had you been together before getting engaged? 6 years 5 months How old were you when you got married? 26 Are you still together (if so, for how long)? married 6 months, together 8 years
  • I gave up on the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo after the first few chapters. Couldn't get into it. I saw the movie (not the one with Daniel Craig) and really enjoyed that but man, just cannot do the book. I liked The Host better than the Twilight books. I did read them all :embarassed: I had to stop reading James Patterson.…
  • My calf muscles. Although I can't wait until the day I can say my abs again :)
  • Dirty Dancing <3
  • I am doing C25K. The website I found reccomends doing it three times a week. I also use the elliptical machine and 30DS to keep from getting too bored with just one routine. This week I will be starting week 5.
  • I typcially wear a pair of my husbands old gym pants and one of my concert Ts... I do laundry a few times a week so its usually clean and right on the top of the pile. Since I see the same people at the gym 3-5 times a week I always wonder if they worry I am going to smell funny :) I have yet to notice anyone avoiding me…
  • I think girls wear makeup for other girls more than for guys, at least I do. I always get compliments on my makeup from girls, whereas guys couldn't care less. The only guy I have dated that cared about my makeup was metrosexual, and there is a good chance he was bisexual (or gay, and definitely in denial).
  • I kicked my husband in the balls when he was trying to propose...:embarassed: In my defense, he came running up to me when I was swinging on a swing set and there was absolutely no way for me to stop in time. He kept asking me if I promised to be nice from him from now on... haha. The rest of it was pretty romantic though.…
  • I am on my third week of workouts after taking a looooooong looooooong break. I am currently doing 30DS at least 3 days a week, C25k 3 days a week, and using the elliptical machine. I want to add weights and yoga soon, but for now my focus is running (I would like to run a 5K this spring) and eating healthy/preparing…
  • Since they are now a blended family, you cannot invite your blood nieces and nephews and not your step-nieces and nephews. Imagine if you were a child and were excluded from an event...but your new brothers and sisters got to go. I understand your conflict with your brother, but his wife's children shouldn't pay the price…
  • Agreed. I just found it awkward and annoying the few times I have tried watching it. Everyone tells me I would love it... I guess they don't know me as well as they think!
  • Love How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Chicks! <3 Kat Dennings
  • I am always impressed with people who do P90X. I am curently doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, it scares me heck of a lot less. Even though its a lighter workout I still had trouble walking after doing Day 1 :)
  • As a relative gym newbie, I would love some help if someone noticed I was doing something improperly. I can't improve if I don't know what I am doing wrong.
  • I've never had those but I do eat the 100 Calorie Right Bites. I love the Fudge Dipped Pretzels. Satifies my craving for chocolate every time :)
  • Not fitting in my clothes while not affording to buy more. I could either invest the money in buying larger clothes, or invest the money in living a healthier lifestyle.
  • I agree. They were probably just using you as inspiration! I always try to pick a machine at least one away, or not directly across, the other people working out (especially if there are very few people vs. a ton of machines). Its not something I would choose to do, but take it as a compliment!
  • You need to make arrangements to see him outside of your workplace and away from his friends. Since it sounds like you have been talking for a while, you probably have common interests. Ask him to come with as you do an acitivity you both enjoy. If he is interested in you, he will make it clear he considers it a date. If…
  • Congratulations on your weight loss so far (and good luck on your continued success). If you are still craving hot wings eat smaller portions, healthier condiments (fat free ranch?) and use it as your cheat meal once a week/month!

  • Love Love LOVE The Hunger Games! I got so excited I cried the first time I watched the preview for the movie (nerd alert). Tonight is girls night. I got my workout in this morning, now I am going to go eat a Chili Dog for my cheat meal and drink a few glasses of ridiculously expensive adult beverages at the bar :)
  • I love them! If I am out of celery I also put peanut butter and raisins on a banana... I just really like peanut butter :)
  • When I eat meals with my husband, I tend to eat way more than I do when I eat on my own. I think social eating encourages some bad habits, such as cheating on your diet or mimicing what/how much the other person is eating. My husband can also eat whatever he wants and not gain a lb. He has a 6 pack without working out,…
  • You can also try to take a break once every hour from work/studying and do some quick exercises like jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, etc. I work retail and I am able to sneak into our backroom and get some exercise in when I go back for a glass of water or to use the rest room. Here are some exercises you can do in an…
