  • I don't feel so bad now. I had cracked crab last night (fresh) and had extra sour baguette slices. Back today to eating better. Good idea to have an occasional day off and not kick myself too much for it.
  • Swim class. Hide the veges in the meat (meat loaf with lots of veges). My son did not like meat....he ate chicken fried rice and sneak veges in there too! Good luck.
  • I realized a long time ago I can't blame my weight on my thyroid or other health problems. It is a combination of health problems, stress and the HAND TO MOUTH DISEASE.
  • Eat a BIG salad at dinner (dressing on the side). order something that is baked or broiled, either chicken or fish. Too full for anything else. You will be fine. Remember this is a forever eating change for you and you want to go out! Enjoy!
  • Remember muscle weighs more. So you may be building muscle but you probably are loosing inches. I tried gluten free and it made me sick...g.i. problems. try healthy snacks when you are hungry. Like an orange, a few prunes, 4 almonds, or such. Good luck.
  • Thanks, yes, interesting. Right now am loosing weight with MFP suggestions, but if I stop will try increasing calories. I have found I am eating more protein then they recommend. I snack on yogurt and stuff like that. Fills me up.

  • I don't, but the problem with these things is you don't know the dose and it can vary from bottle to bottle. Also, if you have an autoimmune problem you should not take anything that boosts your immune system. It depends on the type of thyroid problem or other medical problem that you have.   • Just learning how to eat foods you like and not too much of it is the key I think, not the calories. Recent studies even showed that loosing more at first was better then the slow, but I think the slow is still better as I am training myself to eat for food needs, not for other stuff.
