Don't nurse just to lose weight - although it did help me. I lost a TON of weight when I was nursing (all weight gained during pregnancy, and then some). For me, it was the easiest diet ever. haha However, if you're not careful, it comes right back when you're finished nursing.

I am married, work full time, I run a business, and I have two boys under age 5... On a work day, I will wake up early and exercise HARD for 15-30 minutes usually (High Intensity Interval Training/HIIT). On days I do not work, I drag the kids to the play place at the gym with me while I lift, swim, go to a class, etc., or…

Feel free to add me - I'm looking to lose 100... hopefully more! I'm a mom, work full time, have 2 little boys, and run a business - we got this!!

For me, I sort of plan to "cheat" on the weekends - I just make sure I'm eating well and exercising all week. If I want something not to great for me, I eat it (generally in moderation) and do not feel guilty about it. Log it, and move on.

THIS! I am by no means an expert, but if I find myself not getting close to my calories, I eat nuts, peanut butter or dairy. Fat isn't necessarily your enemy.

I would take it easy and let yourself heal. If you have an Ace bandage or air cast, that may help and provide some support while you heal. I have injured both ankles in the past, and they STILL act up if I do high-intensity exercise (this is YEARS after the injuries). I say, listen to your body. You definitely don't want…

Look at you! Great work!!

Listen to your body - and your doctor. I was in serious fitness mode when I found out that I was pregnant with my second. I continued exercising through my entire pregnancy (even went to the gym the day I was in labor). If I felt like I was pushing myself too hard, I would back off. Before pregnancy, I was an aerobics…

YEP! I kind of really like it, actually!

Bacon is amazing.

Find yourself a HIIT workout on YouTube!

You are an inspiration! Congrats on the loss!

Find a way to make yourself want to drink more water... and chug! Make fruited water, lemon water, throw a tea bag in it - whatever you prefer! Just drink.

Feel free to add me! Full time working mom to two boys here - both under age 5. I am working to lose 100(+) pounds!

Sounds awesome. And yes - please post in the 600cals or less. BAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

What has helped me was finding a form of exercise that I love... and not being afraid to try something new. I have found classes at my gym that I can't live without - they are challenging, a fantastic workout, and kinda-sorta FUN. Not every class I have ever tried have I liked - same goes for machines in the fitness…

Great work! You will notice - just give it time. I have lost 23, and was irritated because I did not notice a difference in the way my clothes were fitting, or the way I looked. Then I happened to catch a glimpse of reflection walking into a store earlier this week, and I'm definitely slimmer. Kind of felt like a tool…

I did yoga at home for months with DVDs and books before I got up the nerve to try a class. It turns out, there was NOTHING to be nervous about! Like someone else said, no one is paying attention. And, I bet you will not be the only overweight person in the class! Give it a try!

I have struggled with huge muscular calves my entire life. I would try what the above posters suggested. (none of it has worked for me, though. I have just learned to embrace my man calves)

Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches! Thawed or frozen chicken (I usually use anywhere from 2-3lbs so we have lots of leftovers) and your favorite barbecue sauce (or make your own - it's REALLY not difficult to whip up a great barbecue sauce). Cook on low for 6ish hours - basically, until the chicken is cooked. Shred the chicken,…

We usually do eggs and sausage for breakfast ( I will beat the eggs before leaving home). We also take oatmeal or other hot cereal for chilly mornings. For lunches, we will have sandwiches and fruit. Dinners vary from pizza mountain pies, to steaks or burgers, or even foil dinners. I make them before camping - a cut up…

WOW! Fantastic work!!

I don't know if this helps, but when I was in college and losing weight (now, I was in my early 20s too, so I'm sure that helped), but I would eat right and sweat my butt off at the gym during the week, and not track the drinks on the weekend. I would usually drink rum & diet coke vs my preferred beer, but doing in doing…

Congrats! My suggestion would be, especially since you are nursing, would be to wait until you are really into the swing of things being a new nursing mom before trying to diet. Feel free to add me - I have 2 little guys myself (and I nursed both of them exclusively). I never used MFP while nursing, but I *think* there is…

This is awesome! Good luck at the games!

THIS!! I was in your shoes when I was 18 too. Couldn't have said it better myself!
