it would seem to be Zig Zaging, a technique of varing the calories consumed so the body dosn't get stuck in a plateau
-
At your level of fitness given you run already for an hour then no for weight loss and yes for fitness
-
I can so relate to this!
-
A roller coaster of a ride! from your post it implies to me you are going to the gym later today, the problem here is that what you ate for breakfast and drink through the day will affect the weigh in results
-
Being high in calories dosn't make something unhealthy.
-
as far as I am aware you need to aim for a 20% increase over your maintaince Kcals so a 22 male being 5' 11" and Weighing 150lbs lightly Active needs 2,413 Kcalsor there abouts to bulk up you gotta add 20% to this making 2895 Kcals
-
it's actually a food belly as the energy stored in alcohol is easier for the body to convert. good news for drinkers , I guess :-)
-
I'm sorry but I have no tips, I just wanted to wish you well and good luck with it
-
you will lose muscle about 75 grams per day this rate will decrese by the 30th day to about 25 grams per day you will also lose fat!
-
about £1.50 :-) its an amercian volume measurement a cup of flour will weigh more than a cup of rice krispies so no direct comparison can be made
-
Oh and the clue here is in your original post "Eating a big meal (cheat day)allows for a great workout afterwards "
-
you dont state your height, but as a male 1200 Kcals is way to low that amount is for a female males should be looking at around 1800 Kcals a day
-
if you are looking for some kind of answer here then you will find a mix of those who do and those who don't :-) what I have worked out so far is those who are grossly overweight IE BMI greater than 30 lose weight with out eating back but as the weight comes off they need to start eating back some or all of their exercise…
-
@ Qarol yes indeed I agree. I can only asume that those calling it a lifestyle are Anorexics in waiting as their "lifestyle" is centred on not quite eating enough, But of course they will change their "lifestyle" to eat enough. Er!!! last time I looked that was the meaning of the word diet! diet is the sum of food consumed…
-
might be worth weighing the Fish and chips to help you gauge the calorie count better, my local chippie is more like 1000-1100 Kcals a portion
-
of course this maybe an advert for a competing web browser :-)
-
maybe your nose just wants to join in with the run just like the rest of your body
-
go see either a doctor or phyisotherapist
-
if you get 10 in a day thats 30 mins of useful exercise
-
if your BMI is hovering I assume that the weight to hasn't moved on much either.
-
don't let putting weight on detract you from giving up. I put on 42 Lbs when I gave up, don't let it defeat you the weight can come off, assuming you put it on, after you have given up smokeing. I have lost 30 lbs of the weight I put on so am getting there

Butter

No your salt intake has been about half of your dailt reccomended amount as laid out in your diary. if you want to see whats going on weigh your self every day and chart the results that will show you the fluctuations of your body cycle.
-
well it seems that is not the case! other wise 1 cup would = 29 grams
-
29 grams as the box states. my cup and your cup may well differ but our scales will not!
-
Not sure why you want to do a carb free diet! about 50% of your daily energy needs should come from carbs. I assume you think no weight lost for a week is a problem!
-
excellent news I am no longer over weight or obese I just have lots of muscle
-
can be a simple case of change of shoe, but there are many forms of "shin splints" perhaps a visit to a phyisothearpist would tell you what the problem is. I suffer from muscle ache on the outside muscle of the shin, not technically shin splints as I found out from a visit to my physiotherapist. and have changed the order…
-
it depends, shin splints as used by the public at large covers many leg related problems do you gently warm up and stretch out you muscles? over stretching them or stretching them while cool can cause problems and do you fully stretch them out in a warm down period?

if it is true then nobody would ever die from stavation!
