I struggle with the same issue. Once I get home from work I'm a bottomless pit. It is so hard to resist the urge to eat. Change comes when we let ourselves get out of our comfort zone.

I'm not sure where you are from but I'm in Indiana and I found that Meijer sells Quest!

Girl I think you are my diet twin! I have done the same exact things, WW, I'm currently reading Whole30 right now! The idea of having to eat low carb or nothing but salads the rest of my life so that I can lose weight and keep it off terrifies me!! I have recently started taking baby steps, I cut out soda on an everyday…

First of all I am so sorry you lost your father. What a terrible thing to go through. When you are with someone going through something like that the last thing on your mind is your own well being. Plus the stress of losing a loved one, it is totally understandable why you gained weight. Its probably been a very sad,…

I am 33 and was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis last year after dealing with joint pain, and a couple of knee surgeries. I use to be a long distance runner and had to give that up, when I did that about 8 years ago I started steadily gaining weight which only made joint pain worse. I live in Indiana and the cold weather in…

I do a lot of workout programs at home. I have done a lot of the beachbody programs. But I just signed up for the "Daily Burn" and I love it!

I hear ya! Diet Coke and I keep breaking up but end up getting back together.

How awesome!!! Such an inspiration! I have spent the last 8 years saying that I'm going to start tomorrow, or right after I eat these fries etc.

Girl I'm right there with you! My family is the first ones to make comments about my weight, but whenever I'm counting calories and trying to be healthy they are the first to act like I've developed an eating disorder! Its very frustrating b/c family are the ones that are suppose to be there to support you 100% when you…

I'm 6'2" and I view 5'8" as on the higher end of normal. The problem is that clothing manufacturers consider you tall and that's why I cant find any clothes!! lol

I do get overwhelmed with the thought of having to eat this way for the rest of my life. Which is ridiculous I know, its not like I have to eat a salad for every meal every day. I need to incorporate some different kinds of foods, because when I am eating clean I tend to eat the same thing all the time and get bored with…
-
Thanks everyone for your input, I appreciate it. I truly agree with the statement that self sabotage is a fear of success, I just need to figure out why I'm afraid to succeed! But I have decided that I am going to log everything I eat no matter how ugly it gets! I just need to realize that one bad meal isn't the end of my…
-
I just posted an almost identical post yesterday! I also do great during the week and then binge on the weekends and don't log it. I have decided screw it I'm logging everything no matter how ugly it is!! Its the only way that I am going to be able to hold myself accountable. Congrats on losing 65lbs!!!
-
From experience I would say don't go cold turkey on the eating. Meaning don't try to go straight from what you were eating to 1200. Maybe make it a more gradual process. Depending on what you do for your job maybe you can work in some exercise there by taking short walks, I sometimes go to the gym on my lunch breaks.…

I'm am feeling better, I started adding more healthy snacks during the day and that seems to help. I still get the feeling that I am starving right after I eat a meal. Most recently after a meal of grilled chicken (6 oz., 1C. brown rice, 1/2C. steamed broccoli). Literally right after I eat I feel like I'm going to throw…

Im right there with ya! Im a former college athlete I used to weigh about 170-175 (Im 6'2"), now Im at 260!!
-
I think you are right. I'm so used to stuffing myself with carbs, and now I'm cutting down on carbs drastically. I also have completely cut soda out. I feel like I'm detoxing!! lol I have been eating a lot of salads with chicken but never feel full once I'm finished.

I have done a lot of Beachbody programs (Insanity, T25, Les Mills Combat & Pump) and Im currently doing P90. I love the beachbody programs, they are fun and you can do them at home. I love Shakeology, but it is pricey. I actually became a Beachbody coach for the discount!
-
No I'm not sick. It's almost like feeling you get when you're super hungry and your stomach is eating itself. I'm wondering its some kind of withdraw type thing.
