I've had my One since Jan 2013 and it's still going strong. No problems at all!

If you have been keeping super great track of what you have eaten for a month you don't even need a TDEE calculator. Just do the math with what you have lost and you will have your personal numbers.
-
Also, food is such an easily and quickly measured thing, every little activity is not. I mean, where do you stop? What will you count? Whatever...like I said, I'm sure I have hobbies others would think are an odd use of time.
-
I am forever amazed at how difficult people want to make weight control. I can't even imagine WANTING to log every little thing I do but I guess everyone needs a hobby.

You are giving a lot of power to a picture of a sandwich. Be stronger than the pixels.

I am 2.1 lbs heavier this morning than I was yesterday morning. I can assure you I didn't eat 7000 calories over maintenance yesterday. Weight goes up and down all the time.

I don't get frustrated by other people's weight loss failure. I do me, they can do them.

I don't think it has had any affect for me. When I'm thirsty, I drink. I believe there is much woo in all of this water business. I am open to reading any studies that have been done though.

Mold comes to mind right away since it is both of you. Did it start after you moved to a new place? This isn't something to mess around with. Edit: I see this was first posted over a month ago...I hope you have been to the Dr and gotten some answers.

I love food but have never binged, obsessed or been miserable about it...unless miserable because I ate a bit too much and sat too much over the winter and put on a few pounds. I think people have different feelings about food. Putting off a food would not make me binge on it later at all. I will occasionally eat things…

Me too. Seems it's what we call a granola bar in the US. Interesting!

None of the things you listed revolve around food...right now it's your thinking revolves around food. Try to focus on the extra activity you are getting and the fun time with friends you are having. You can do it...just takes some practice. Log your food, don't eat (much) more than your calorie allotment and enjoy life!…

Are they having a weigh in? Seriously, don't be desperate. Start eating at a moderate deficit and get some exercise. Go shopping for a flattering outfit and get your hair done. Go and have a great time! You will feel so good and will have a great time seeing everyone. Also, if this reunion is with people who would…

You seem to be trying to mix two different methods here...TDEE and NEAT. Two roads that will lead to the same destination but you can't take both at the same time. You will first need to choose which you want to follow. BMR is irrelevant. Think of it this way...you are not comatose. According to the calculators you…

Oh, I agree. Not advocating she try to lose 2 lbs a week, just pointing out that you will often get 1200 no matter what goal you put in because MFP will just give you 1200 as a minimum. It's not that the two aren't syncing properly, she is just hitting MFP's minimum calorie level.
-
I think what is happening with this is that MFP will bottom out at 1200 and FB will go lower. You could tell MFP that you want to lose 2 lbs a week and it will still give you 1200 but FB will actually deduct the entire 1000 calories every day and give you the real number. Lots of good advice above. Set your goal…

If you don't eat your exercise calories back anyway, why all the angst about logging or not? Log it, don't log it, doesn't matter. It's obvious you really want to so go for it...you body will tell you if what you are doing is working.
-
Eat whatever you were eating before but less of it.
-
Is your activity level set at sedentary? I don't know anything about you...age, weight, fitness level, what you set your activity level at or what your activity level really is. I just find that so many people around here make this harder than it needs to be. Knowing nothing about you I would say log the 65, eat what mfp…

Is that 25 minutes your "exercise" for the day or do you walk your dog every day? If exercise I would put in the 65, if you do it every day it should be in your activity level.

Happy...is there a name for official menopause day? If not, there needs to be! Congrats!!

You're not alone. It doesn't occur to me to "celebrate" things either. To me, reaching a goal is celebration enough. It's just a different mind set. The things that people list as rewards are just things to buy when I need them. Maybe I will try to think of having celebrations more often. In my head, that will mean…

Agreed. No need for spreadsheets or math beyond dividing by 3500. For the record, if I am as accurate as possible about my intake I find my fitbit amazingly accurate about my burns as evidenced by my weight loss or gain.
-
My neighbor's dog bit me while I was out for a run.
-
You aren't logging your food. Do that and be as accurate and honest as possible. Maintain a calorie deficit. Those are my best tips. Good luck!
-
I would just let my fitbit handle zumba. No extra logging required.
-
People can't win no matter what. Next up will be a post about how someone has lost 40 lbs and no one has said anything.
-
I see what you are saying. I have mine at personalized too. I use mfp for food calories so I rarely even look at fitbit's how much to eat info. It probably doesn't matter either way...just more do you like to "earn" calories or see the big picture. So far, so good for me too and I have used fitbit and mfp since Jan 2013.…

This feeling of "guilt" over eating something is completely foreign to me. I will eat whatever I want and log it.
