1200 is not the minimum for everyone..when you take into consideration activity level, exercise, age, current weight ect..even netting 1200 is not going to be okay or for everyone. bad thing don't start to happen at a magical 1200 number for everyone..we are all different! anyoo...glad the op figured it out!

thanks for the info! I hadn't bought the book because I wasn't sure if it would work for my schedule..now I will look into it more. Right now at home we only have dumbells up to 20 pounds. No barbell.

I will definately cut back on TKD come July/Aug, December is also at least 2 weeks of down time. I will change my activity level and start working up towards the new calorie goal, thanks for your feedback on that. Not enough time in the day to do all that I want to do!

I don't do Muay Thai..but when I started TKD I was well over 200 pounds.. but like the other posters everyone has to start somewhere and it is a great fun way to get in shape!.

Just because one school does it differently than yours does not make it a imitation tkd class. Our classes are broken up..2x a week is traditional tkd, 2 days a week sparring and 2 days a week is fighters fit (conditioning/strenght training etc). Maybe that is how hers is set up?? I absolutely love that we do the conditioning now on a regular basis at tkd..this helps loads in the ring. Also the strength training…

Do you mean eat my exericse calories or not eat my exercise calories? Right now I am not eating them back..but wast trying to eat 1800 per day..except for Saturdays..I do try to eat more because those are really high burn days for me.
