I luv JM and 30DS is a regular for me. I'd like to hear more about her BR. Tell me what the week 1 work-out was like-- different stuff every day, same work-out everyday???

A relatively short work out that you can squeeze into your day that really gives results in changing your body. Doesn't always give you a lot of weight loss (as you strengthen throughout the work-out), but you'll burn calories and 'shape-up'.

:embarassed: Over the past two years, I've done 30DS three times. This will be my fourth. Never do I lose lbs from 30DS, but my clothes get looser. Only when I do LOTS of cardio do I lose lbs. Don't quit. It's a short term challange. We can do this. Your pants will thank you for it :laugh:

:laugh: I only measure my butt & thighs-- It's the only thing I want to see get smaller. Height: 5' 8" CW: 147 GW: 140 Butt: 42.8 Left Thigh: 25 Right Thigh: 25 If I didn't have my big butt & saddle bags, I truly would be "skinny". Everything from the waist up is boney.

:flowerforyou: I'll send you a friend request. I actually started yesterday as a personal challange to finish before Spring Break (beginning of April for us). I've done it before, but that was about 9 months ago. It helps to have support to guilty you to complete :laugh:

Sometimes I like it when my kids make comments that can be heard-- maybe it will be the the extra push someone needs to make a change. But don't get me wrong, I don't like feelings to be hurt.

Maybe-- I guess what I'm trying to figure out is-- if a person goes over their TDEE a few times a week by a couple hundred calories, at what point does weight gain take place. It's a conversation that has started at work and we're going round and round with the topic. It's confusing.

Don't delay, get it right away :happy: I did it for 30 straight days and have started over for a 2nd round and mix it in a couple times a week with my cardio to keep up the strength training.

:bigsmile: Love 30DS. Did my 1st round for 30 consecutive days. Doing my second round of it now with heavier weights (but not doing it every day-- got to get ready for a 5K, so spending more days on cardio and mixing in the 30DS).

Soooo-- How is everyone doing??? I'm starting Level 3 tonight. I've never tried this level. One & two are the most I've ever done. I'm so hoping (when this is over) the measuring tape gives me some good news about my thighs :laugh:

I would consider myself at mid-level on the finess scale. I'm more advanced than the beginner moves, but not quite at the advanced moves. I jog a mile or two a few times a week. I'm on day 21 of the Shred (haven't missed a day). I don't have much weight to lose, but my goal is to tone. I've only lost 1 lb, but my pants are…

Try adding more fresh veggies and cut our a lot of the starch. May also want to monitor your sugar.

I made these last night... I cannot say that they are able to take the place of a good oatmeal raisin cookie. I can see this as a breakfast option, but they didn't really fill my craving for a cookie.

In the freezer section, the Green Giant "Steamers". Have them everyday at work for lunch. :bigsmile:
