  • Free is good! Thank you! I didnt know they were on youtube, I thought they were only DVDs!
  • I listen to my body. If I am hungry I eat more. My body is telling me I have not given it enough fuel.
  • I've also got similar tops like this from target, though they're sometimes overpriced
  • I agree. That has to be building up leg muscles! I run up some pretty good hills too and can feel my quads working hard to push me up them. Thanks for the advice!
  • I have a question on the same topic. Those of you who are successful with running to lose weight, do you also do strength training? Have you lost weight with much more cardio than strength? I have an extremely limited schedule with working full time and taking college classes every night, so I am trying the best way to do…
  • Makes perfect sense. Thank you!!!!
  • Ok. I want to use the TDEE method. Using moderately active to include morning workouts and the -10%...it says to eat 1985 (ha! my birth year). That seems too high! MFP is telling my I have a negative deficit now? Just ignore them because they are not including exercise? I wonder if there is a calorie counter out there in…
  • Changing my goals in my calculator, MFP tells me I only have a 50 calorie deficit? What gives?? That was using a lightly active with a 15% deficit. Do you guys all just ignore that and and use MFP to track food and not worry about what it says for deficit etc?
  • And why is the thought of eating that many more calories so scary?!
  • Thank you, I have been eating my exercise calories back. I figured that way if I did not get my work out in then I would not be over eating. But if it is still too few calories then I will adjust my activity level for that! I sit on my *kitten* pretty much for 12 hours. I do walk around the office some when needed. And I…
  • Ok thank you!
  • At what point did you decide you need to adjust to -10% from -20%? I'm wanting to lose 5-10 more lbs and have been stalling. Pretty sure I have not been eating enough because my net was low, but I am changing that now! I was just wondering at what point do you make the switch? Curious what I should do.. TIA
  • I've read on these forums some of the same thing this article said. <shrugs> Take it for what it's worth. I thought there were some good points. If nothing else, it's a good conversation piece.
  • Does extra water combat the extra sodium intake? Just wondering? In my mind I make sure to drink more water to flush it out but I don't know if that's just all in my head. If so, what's the ratio you should use if you go over?
  • How funny I have noticed the same thing! I think in the mirror we have a preconceived criticism of ourselves, whereas in photos we're not expecting it so it catches us off guard. Honestly I have no idea...
  • I have been taking my left over low cal dinners. Tomorrow I will have caprese chicken (chicken breast topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, basil, and a tomato and a side salad. If my meals don't yield any left overs I have healthy choice frozen lunches with a side salad or some veggies. I opt for left overs if possible…
  • Thanks everyone!
  • I am not on this pill, but on something else. This is my experience which speaks loud enough for me. Last year, due to the holidays and personal stuff I couldn't make it to the pharmacy on time to get my new prescription so I had to wait a month to start my next pack. The month that I was not on the pill, I lost probably 5…
