Make friends on MFP, and help them, they'll help you back in the times you feel frustrated or unmotivated. If weight loss is your goal, or just some number on a scale, then you can give up easily, because it's just a number. So have a goal - something that you'll reward yourself when you get to your goal, and be committed…

Thanks brower, I think it is a Friesian... that's my motivation - when I get to my goal weight, I'm getting my own horse. Maybe a Friesian if I win the lottery, lol. Wanted a horse all my life, now nothing but my weight is holding me back. :-) So from what everyone is saying, I think I'll hang on where I am for one more…

I've added exercise to my routine - swimming laps, skating, a riding lesson once a week (don't worry it's a big horse ;). I've worked up to swimming 3/4km once a week. I've also added smaller things like push-ups, stretching, and ping-pong at work every few days. So not a gym... but active. Mostly staying inside my macros…

That's my every day. :) I usually opt for a bowl of Fibre 1 Crunchy Cereal in almond milk with fruit and berries. Only 150 calories and really fills me up. If I'm still hungry after that I'll eat some fruit, a peach, apricot, or some strawberries - yum.

I'm disappointed this week, because somehow my weight went up a pound. I've been more active and eating OK, I lost 4 lbs over the holidays doing the same. I've noticed that after exercising I'm not sore now and I'm not getting "jello-legs" any more. Does this mean that I'm gaining muscle, and could this be the reason for…

Nice to meet you, feel free to add me! I've also got a fair bit to lose

At my weight, some of the exercise I'm doing is burning major calories - 800+ calories burned in a day. I can't eat all that back. I had a day recently I burned something like 1200 calories in a day, I was so tired afterwards I fell asleep for the night. The next day I was so hungry I over-ate by a lot, and I'm pretty sure…

I'd like to join this challenge, thanks! I'm aiming to lose more than 52 pounds, but I don't expect it to be all this year. I've been overweight since before I was 1 year old, I don't remember ever not being overweight, but now it's time to take it off for good. I'm a working Mom in a sedentary job which makes things…
