Not paranoid. Please tell me you aren't having people over for Thanksgiving. It's just a day. People who aren't vaccinated against flu/pertussis shouldn't be around a newborn. I am having mine on the 15th via c-section. I don't plan on doing anything for the holiday except pre-order a meal from the local market.

I actually LOST 3 pounds between appointments. But I gained them back over the last 3 weeks. Holding steady at 16 pounds gained at 34 weeks. This is on par with my previous pregnancies. I am eating healthier and not drinking beer, so the weight came off at the same time the baby is growing.

The only thing I would keep is the right to nap anytime I d*mn well please. My boobs are already pretty big w/o the pregnancy.

Does anyone else feel like they are getting the crap beat out of them from the inside? It is downright painful some days. It also wakes me up at night.
-
Wow. Just.... wow. What a ****. Good news is that now you know what would have went down with this dr.

We gave them short cuts today. My dear husband has been combing my hair for me. I'm bummed I got them, but at least it's from cuddling with the kids! I just want this to be over before the baybay gets here

I can't use rid or nix. I just used something called licemd, so I hope it works.
-
We have one. Used it with the other kids, too. The graco brand has a bassenet you can put on it and remove when they get bigger. It is very useful for trips and also for the first month or so next to your bed.

Mine has lost weight! He has been on a health kick with protein shakes for breakfast and soup for lunch. He is looking good!

I am in more pain this time. My back is killing me! I think the problem for me is that with my first two I worked full time at a very physical job. Lots of walking, bending and lifting. I was in good shape when I started out this time but after months of morning sickness and exhaustion I am not there anymore. I spend a lot…

33 weeks- 13 pounds gained. I look and feel like a swallowed a soccer ball.

I gave up the gym membership last month. I'll restart it at the beginning of the year, but with the kids in school and my being so tired it just wasn't worth it. I am 32 weeks now, but worked out 3x per week up until then. Now I walk or do housework.
-
I am planning on mopping the house today. At 32 weeks, that is some heavy exercise.
-
I am starting to walk with the kids after dinner. I am 7.5 months pregnant, so it is hard to motivate myself. It seems to calm everyone down for bedtime. I second the "10 minute workout" idea. You can break it down to a few times a day and it will still count.

I got the pertussis one last month at the ob office. I will get the flu one next visit. One thing...the tdap hurt like a mofo for several days after. Just fyi.

I would just follow her lead. If she wants to talk about it, she will. Sending a card or treating her "different" would just foccus on something she doesn't want to focus on. If your baby talk had bothered her before now, she would have said something.
-
I stopped "working out" a few weeks ago. Now I focus on walking and stretching. I'll get back on the workout train 6 weeks postpartum.

I am at the 32 week mark! Thank bob. I am pretty much done. My back pain is out of control. I am so glad I have a scheduled c section. I have only gained 12 pounds so far this pregnancy. My doc said today that as long as I am eating 3x a day and having snacks, she isn't worried.

We don't use most of the items offered in coupons. I do clip for what we use, but the stores here don't really allow for stacking or multiple coupons. The food is generally high fat, sugar and carbs. I have found the best use for coupons is with otc drugs, toothpaste, cat food and detergent.

I do because it helps me keep track of taking them. Also, I keep track of my iron and calcium intake
-
Cheese sticks, eggs, carrot sticks, more water, almonds.... My first trimester was spent nauseus and sleeping so I ate whatever I could keep down.
-
I'm going to wait a few more weeks for the bag. One thing to remember to bring is lotion. The hospital air is soooo dry. Also good shampoo and conditioner.
-
I am 30 weeks and mine never went away. I have taken 2 naps already today and will probably go to bed early. I had terrible morning sickness the first tri. Second tri I was a little less tired but the nausea was gone. Now I am just tired all the time. I worked full time at a very active job up until my due date with my…

Also, 'if you need snacks'? She does know you are pregnant, right? Snacks should be a given. And fruit as a snack just sounds like a sugar spike and not very filling.
-
Hm. That just doesn't seem like enough to me. No calcium? Weird. I would contact my dr office and ask their opinion. I have been told to have several small meals throughout the day and eat when I'm hungry.

Have you checked youtube? There are a lot of free resources out there. When I was pregnent with my first child we went to a class. We left halfway through because the woman leading it kept referring to childbirth as "juicy". Gross. Also, I knew that I wanted an epidural and the classes seemed focused on "natural"…

29 weeks and up 11 pounds. About on par with my previous pregnancies.
-
I don't know about you, but the exhaustion, stress and hormones of being pregnant have me on a short fuse. I would try to stay away from her as much as you can. After your baby gets here you will have other things to focus on.
-
I am about 28 weeks right now. I am freaking exhausted by 3 every day. I have no idea how I worked up until my due date with my older two kids. I am a sahm now and I am tired tired tired regardless of the amount of rest I get. I have been taking iron pills this time, too. My doctor told me that it is normal.

We did it to both our boys. They don't remember it. It is only as big of a deal as you want it to be. If someone judges you for your decision (either way) then "f" them. But then, I feel the same way about medicated birth, breast feeding and potty training. Do the best you can for your family at the time then move on
