  • Love any kind of snake drill! Especially the ones where we partner up and hit/brace as we weave through the line.
  • Tomorrow is the day! I go in for my c/s at noon. I am so very ready to be able to bend over again. And of course, meet my new baby...
  • With my first, it was about 20 weeks. My second about 18. My third was about 16. But I think I just knew what to look for with the movement. I am 39 weeks now and it is downright painful sometimes. She and I are ready for her to come out. It is pretty funny to see the looks on my husband and kids' faces when they see her…
  • I have two children via c/s and one coming on thursday. There is no change in bonding with your baby. You will still be able to breastfeed. The pain is very manageable. The scar is minimal, right above or in the pubic hair line. Honestly, my pain vs the pain my friends had in vaginal birth..... I would take the c/s any…
  • I had severe morning sickness in the first tri. Exercise made it worse. If you are concerned, call your dr's nurse line. Otherwise, maybe take a break and lie down for a while. Cold oranges and saltines helped me.
  • Spark? Hahahahahahaha. This is my third kid. My dh and I learned from the first two that while we love each other, we shouldn't expect to feel all "sexy times" during pregnancy. Some people do. That's great. But I am sooooo not into it. We ha dour anniversary last week. We exchanged cards and had belly laughs about how…
  • My only thought here.... Newborns are stressful. To everyone. But they are super stressful to those who are not the parents. If you live with someone else, in their space, be prepared to deal with that. Other people (not you or husband) will get tired of late night crying. Tired of piled up housework. Tired of interupted…
  • Not as excited as you must be! 3 days! My due date is the 21st, but my c/s is scheduled for the 15th. Yay!
  • Nine days left! Somehow lost 3 pounds in he last week. Water weight? I dunno. I ate a a**load of h'ween candy so who knows. But.....9 days!
  • They only put you under if there is some sort of medical need. Otherwise you are awake and aware the entire time. My Mister has been there each time. He also is a lookey-loo. Me? You couldn't have paid me cash to watch my loved one cut open, but he found it fascinating. He also cut the cord.
  • I have two kids already and can only tell you what we have re-purchased vs. left out this time around. Forget it: diaper genie. Go for a step on lidded regular garbage can. Lots more use and you don't need anything special for it. Changing table. The top of the dresser is fine. Wipe warmer. Really. Bottle warmer. If you…
  • I feel ya. My last 2 pregnancies I have dealt with migraines, butnot until the last trimester. I am sorry, but the only thing that helps me is laying down in a dark room. Even that doesn't really "help", though. Sorry...
  • Final countdown. One week. Five days. Man, am I ready to not be pregnant anymore. My energy is sapped, my ribs hurt and it is a struggle to be in a good mood.
  • Both my boys weighed in at almost 10 pounds. This one is......who knows. I have a c/s scheduled for the 15th, but I am soooooo very done. I am short waisted and there is just no more room! I can feel her little feet poking my innards up under my ribs. Heavy sighs. 2 weeks left.
  • I like alphamom.com and babycenter.com
  • People say things without thinking. The tech probably didn't think that she was saying anything of import. I wouldn't let it bother you. You could always call your dr's nurse line for reassurance.
  • I haven't been to the gym in weeks. Too tired. I think it has to do with my age (37) and the fact that this is my third. I hit my heating pad by 7 pm every night. I am a sahm, so I can get all the household stuff done during the day but I am still exhausted.
  • Congrats!
  • All I want is ice water and salami & american cheese sandwiches. Weird.
  • Oh yes. I have become a list maker of everything. I have to write down "take shower, vitamin, make chicken for dinner, etc" otherwise I would walk into the bathroom and forget why I am there, open the fridge and forget what I was doing. I have my phone alarm set to remember to pick up the kids from school. I forget the…
  • I found some really comfy ones at target. Really roomy.
  • I am scheduled for a c/s on the 15th. 2 weeks. 6 days.
  • I was a DD before gettong pregnant and am afraid to get measured now. I have been using sports bras instead of regular bras. Also those tank tops with the bra built in. I need to go buy a couple of nursing bras, but will wait until after birth.
  • Yeah, I realllllly don't want to whip out my boob in front of my mil. She is very passive aggressive and would just fret and irritate me.
  • My inlaws will be here for 2 days while I am in the hospital. That's it! I know from my first two I don't really want any visitors in the hospital. Friends, I am sure, will drop by evey once in a while with food/good wishes.
  • I'm scheduled for a c section on the 15th. I don't doubt she will be huge so I'm glad it's not a natural birth!
  • Had my 36 week appt yesterday. Holding steady at 14 pounds gained. My doctor measured me and said she is measuring at full term already. So I am assuming she will be a giant like her brothers. They both weighed in at almost 10 pounds. I guess I'll go return those newborn diapers today!
  • Grilled cheese. Soup. Quesadillas. Breakfast for dinner. Homemade "lunchables".
  • Good news is that you will go home with a baby either way! Best laid plans and all of that......
  • Are people including gift receipts? Return for store credit. People just like to buy cute things. The idea of buying a breast pump for someone else kind of skeeves some people out. I mean, boobs. Ew, right? LOL. Trust me, no one is going to be looking for the outfit they bought for you.
