So 8 wasn't so bad last night. I had an easier time with it than 7, but that seems to be the pattern with all the workouts so far that the "backside" is easier than the "frontside". I had a little bit of trouble with the sufer get-ups in the warm-up, and with the leg presses. There's no way I am doing that w/ the cable…

I have it and I like it. I have the companion too "No More Trouble Zones". BFBM is really good if you're looking to burn!
-
Just finished it for the first time. Not bad, but I could have done better. The first circuit is tougher than I expected, but I muddled through. The Crow Push-ups actually hurt my hip sockets, so I need to watch those. Walking planks were ok, and plank-ups we done on my knees, as were the 1-legged pushups in the 3rd…

I'm doing it sometime this afternoon. I am being cautiously optimistic about circuit 1 in 7. If I can get through that, I can get through anything.
-
Seriously though, even my husband was like "what the hell is that thing?" lol.
-
Oh! And I fogot to mention: what the HELL is up with that HORRIBLE see-through "dress" shirt they have on Omar? That thing would be too long on the tall guys, and they stick it on him? So wrong...

I was just going to post that! Not looking forward to the crescent into warrior 3. The rest of it looks pretty good though. The bicycles in circuit 4 don't look thrilling, and not psyched that suicides are back. Overall, 8 looks easier than 7. Excited to move on now though, less scared!

Ok, just watched 7. Circuit 1 does look like a nightmare, lots of plant and I can tell already that my arms/shoulders are not gonna be happy about it. Its funny that the first move in every odd workout (frontside) is some form of push-up. Its like its her evolution of the push-up. The rest looks good. Star jumps look like…

It's my last day too! Going to bust it out after work though. I'm kind of sad to move on, I've liked these two.
-
Don't be scared, they're really not that bad! I'm quite enjoying them!
-
I had to modify those too because they were killing my lower back, and the last thing I wanted was to pull my back out.
-
I ALWAYS preview any workout DVD before I do it. It really helps to see how things flow, and if there are any moves that may need to be watchful of or modified. I'm kind of scared to see what 5&6 are like, so I am holding off on previewing those until next week when I am half-done with 3&4.

I do cardio 1 just to do it, as it is in the program, but if I get extra time to do more, then I do more. Sundays are my walking day, so I don't really rest but get that extra mild workout in my 4 mile walk. I have her Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD too that is all cardio, so if I get ambitious I've done that too.
-
I have 2 more weeks until I get to Cardio 2.....your post makes me scared for it :ohwell:

I'm finding it a little easy, but that's probably because I've done other DVDs of hers and am used to her pushing. It feels light, but the easy intro is welcome rather than jumping right into Kick Your *kitten* mode that I am fearing later on.
-
Just finished my 2nd workout for the Kickstart week today and I like it so far! Workout 1 seems a little easy, but I like how it progresses into harder stuff as you get more into the program. I've been doing her 30DS DVD and some other ones for a while now, so I'm used to her stuff, but this is great for true beginners.…

I'm starting this Sunday, I think my BR package is coming today, a day early! So excited!
-
Thanks everyone. I know they'll never really go away, but if I can get them to go away a little, or be less apparent I'm happy.
-
Hi Helen! Feel free to add me. I've been on here for about a year, lost about 70 so far of my initial 87-loss goal, but I think I want to lose about another 20-30 after that. I know what its like to be a newly wed, and in school, and trying to lose weight. Either way, good luck and remember that you can do it!
-
I love it. It's my favorite DVD of hers, and it's my go-to workout as well. Its tough in the beginning, but so worth sticking it out.

I have an uncle who for 2 Christmases in a row made half-drunk comments to me about my weight. Ruined Christmas for me both years. Now, after not seeing him since 2009, it'll be nice to throw it back in his face.
-
Awesome. Sounds like I'm making a trip to Target after work. Thanks ladies!
-
I have it, and from what I remember the exercise is good, but I don't do it that often because he talks way too much for my liking during a yoga workout. I like to be chill and quiet while doing yoga and he is non-stop chatter like in other BL dvds.
-
I have this one too and I love it.

Thanks!!!! If we had the $, I would so have a wedding doover once I hit my goal weight. But, for now, seeing this dress be huge on me is good enough.
-
Well I don't know why that last one rotated, but its just to show how much I could clip it in the back to make it "fit" again. And please excuse the wrinkles, it's been in a box since Oct. 4th, 09.
-
You look FANTASTIC! Like a whole new person! Congrats on all of your hard work, and good luck with the next little bit you want to achieve. Either way, you look GREAT!
-
Thanks! I'll try to get a new pic taken this weekend, in the outfit I have on today, cause I kinda feel like hot stuff. :blushing:
-
I would start with 3. Once you get used to the other exercises, you'll feel ok using 5lbs. That's what I do anyways.
-
I do all the time. And, I use them as a grocery cart too, as long as I'm not getting a ton of stuff. Helps burn a few extra cals while blitzing through the store carrying my groceries, rather than pushing them.
