Lots of patience! If you’re not losing, then don't be afraid to add different foods or types of exercise to your routine. The adjustment can take time, but you should be fine just as long as you log everything in MFP.

Thanks for the invite! It's nice to see so many active runners! My name is Debi (49 years young) and I'm married to another runner. It's nice because I have someone close to help push me when needed. I started running a couple of years ago as a THIS IS IT moment on my birthday. I was so proud finishing a 5k at 48:41. After…

I'm in my 40's and decided a couple of weeks ago to join a gym near my house. I received my two free training sessions and decided to pay for 10 training sessions. I just finished my second session and I'm so happy! I know my way around the elliptical and treadmills, but I wanted to lift weights. I figured I would give…

I couldn't wait to start next week so I'm on Week 1 Day 2. I workout is intense, challenging and worth it!

Keep telling yourself YOU CAN DO THIS! It will happen! I'm back again too. I gained 6 pounds in 4 months by lack of tracking the junk food and randomly exercising! I felt better becuase despite the gain, the majority of my meals were healthy. I'm back logging and exercising. I need to keep reminding myself that it's not a…

What was the moment in your life that fully motivated you to pursue your weight loss goals? After feeling so crummy for months and test results coming back negative for everything, I decided it was time to gain control of what I can - my weight and physical activity.

Just wanted to say welcome. This is a great site. Post your food and exercise daily. You'll do great. Good luck.

Welcome to MFP Julia! Glad your feeling better. I'm on day 15 and feel so much better. Just take it a day at a time. Feel free to add me. Good luck!

I remember when I first bought 30 Day Shred a year ago and I couldn't finish 3 days in a row. I finished level 1 this time in 10 days, taking a day off before starting level 2. I love level 2. I'm doing everything that I hated to do before. It's really pushing me and I can see the difference. It's nice not having to rely…

Welcome to MFP. This is my 12th day tracking my food and exercise and enjoying it. I'm 46 and started at 180 lbs and want to get down to 132 lbs. I added you. Good luck to you.

I agree with bmmarti3, I would rather stay home and eat a planned calorie meal, but I know there will be times when I go out. Scan the online menu before going and plan what you are going to have. I would still log dinner in the food diary.Skip dessert and watch the bread basket.

Just wanted to say welcome to MFP. I've tried a lot of programs in the past too, incuding Weightwatchers (lifetime 5x) and still didn't learn about good nutrition and the idea of making exercise a way of life. There are too many people here to prove that it is do able. Take it one day at a time and journal, journal…

I was just saying to myself, I could use a good message  Welcome to MFP. It's my 10th day here and I love it. You will too!

I just wanted to say welcome to MPL. I'm not new either but this time I've got 7 days of posting my food and exercise. That is a streak for me. I have some summer clothes from last year in the drawer that I can't even pull up. I am so motivated and I'm staying here. I told myself this time, I need help and I need to help…
