If you have access to green bananas, you can boil them in the skin until they split open (about 30 min) then use them like you would potatoes...any way you would use potato you can use boiled green bananas...mashed, salad, chunked in stews.

I love grilled carambola (star fruit). I live in South Florida so they are easy to come by. Plain they are a bit tart, but slice them put them on the grill and they are wonderful with chicken, fish or even by themselves.

I look at it all & try to stay under everything except protien. Occasionally I go over on fat when I splurge and use some butter. I bleive if you are trying to lose then stay under everything except protien is the best bet for losing. When I hit the maintence phase, I suspect I will look at it differently.

When I have to eat on the run (like days I have to go into the office), I puts some greek yogurt, & some of my homemade ganola into a small plastic container, then mix it around and top with berries...on goes the cover and into my lunch bag it goes & I m off.

Be careful with protien suppliments as many of them have sugars in them. You are better off mixng plain greek yogurt with nuts. If the yogurt is too tart for you, add a splash of cinnamon & some sweet berries like raspberries or other sweet fresh (not canned) fruit.
