  • I eat it, I make a calorie allowance for dark chocolate, red wine, and half and half every day and still lost 37 lbs. I did worse when I tried to deprive myself. Plan ahead is my best advice. It is not what you eat, it is the amount. it took me years to figure this out ( years of starvation and binge eating)
  • Amen! I eat dark chocolate, drink a glass or two of red wine, and use fully leaded half and half in my coffee almost every day. These things make me happy in moderation. It is not what you consume, it is the amount you consume that makes the difference.

  • I like to cut them into tiny slices ( like fries) , and bake them. I spray the pan covered in tin foil with cooking spray and then spray the "fries" I like to sprinkle on curry powder and sea salt sometimes too. Or you can sprinkle on cinnamon if you like sweet.

  • You could try increasing calories by adding calorie -nutrient dense foods such as almonds, almond butter, walntus, mango etc. Then you will not be eating more bulk per say , however, increasing calories and nuttrients
  • Your best carb options come from mother natures ( ie whole fruits and veggies) If you choose potatos go for sweet, red, or the purple potatos ( they are purple all the way through) I have given up most grains ( soy, corn, wheat etc) due to my asthma. These are infmammatory foods for me and a lot of people.
  • 30 lbs that fast seems like a lofty goal, however, you could lose some weight and tone before then. The best advise I can give is remove all processed foods ( no grains, no milk, soda, fake sugar, etc) Eat veggies, fruit, and meat.
