  • I've been getting the Silk Vanilla for awhile, my local store just started carrying the lite version which is only 70kcals per 1 cup. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it in my cereal or in my coffee. If I put it in coffee I don't add sugar as it is sweeter than regular milk
  • I've made a ton of new friends by responding to people just like you introducing yourself on here. I've been on here for nearly 4 weeks now, lost 7.5lbs (weighing in again on Sunday). I'm sending you a friend request now!
  • My nutrition instructor at college drilled into our heads FIBER FIBER AND MORE FIBER!! You get more fiber out of whole grains than you do white breads. Fiber keeps you fuller long, keeps your poop moving and all around is better on your blood sugar and your whole GI system. When buying bread you should be looking for a…
  • short term to is reward my weight loss with "new" clothes that fit me. I say "new" because I am a big Goodwill lover (not ashamed at all) It helps keep me motivated to see how good I look in clothes that fit me. In 4 weeks I've gone from a sz14 pant down to a sz 10!!! Long term goal is a totally kickass cut-out swimsuits!…

  • Do you have Netflix? They have tons of instant streaming workout videos. I do that or I do my Zumba for the Wii if I can't make it to the gym
  • I had the mirena, bled for three months straight. Then after that I would spot for a day or two every couple of months, it was really nice not having a period. Then after nearly three years of having it, the fights kept getting worse with my husband, he kept trying to tell me I was turning into some kind of psycho***** but…
  • I met my husband online, playing backgammon on msn zone. We've been married almost 8 years! So the story goes because everyone always asks...moved to a new state, didn't know anyone so I would come home from work and play backgammon. I kept running into this guy from England (I am in Arizona). After a month of chatting…
  • Just sent you a friend request. I love this app, been using it three weeks now. It is super easy there is NO reason to not use it. This morning was such an encouragement to log on (from my pc) and see all my MFP's weight loss being logged today. Helped keep me on track and motivated.

  • Anyone of you feel free to add me. My goal is 1390 but after exercise I try to net 1200
  • Most people's problem when trying to lose weight is they eat TOO little calories. This can cause your metabolism to slow down and from that you don't lose weight or you lose very little weight. You should also be eating back at least some of your exercise calories. Try to make sure you net 1200 calories a day.
  • great pair of skinny or straight leg jeans, fun flirty blouse, fitted blazer/jacket and heels. Check out pinterest.com for tons of great ideas!!!
  • OMG I can't stop laughing!!!!
  • I've been getting bit and pieces from Goodwill. I love the NSV of buying something a size smaller but HATE paying the price for new stuff when I know they're going to be too big soon. Once I plateau and are close to my goal then I will splurge and get new clothes
  • Arizona!!! You have the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Tombstone...Phoenix has plenty to do and see as well. Or Seattle. There is so much to do and see. Amazing zoos & aquariums. Mount Saint Helens, Skiing, hiking, boating, Pikes Place Market...I could go on and on
  • I try to NET 1200 calories a day. Sometimes I eat back all my exercise calories sometimes I only eat back a few to get me up to 1200. Also, you need to give your body a rest day. There is such a thing as TOO much exercise. And have a spike day with your calories.
  • I have the Wii Fit, its ok, I got bored with it real quick. Think I've used it about 3 times in the last year. Saying that, my hubby just bought me the Zumba Fitness 2 and I love it!! I've only had the chance to use it once this week but plan on using it about three or four times this week (I usually workout at home when…
  • I like a nice compromise between the two. I don't like super ripped but I don't like super bulky either. However, I am a sucker for a nice set of arms :blushing:
  • HI! I'm 31, married nearly 8 years. We have three kids 4 yr old twins & 3 yr old. My husband and I are both full time college students (me-social work, him-nursing). I am always looking for like-minded people to help support & motivate each other. Feel free for any of you to add me.
  • Feel free to add me if you want. I'm on here religiously and will support you on a good day and a bad.
  • I have 4 yr old twins & a 3 year old... they have 4 chores they have to do every day and if they do it, I give then a quarter. Its not alot but they think its cool. Probably helps they are pretty naive when it comes to things like video games and stuff like that. Their favorite place to go is the Dollar store.

  • or it could be you are eating too little and burning too many calories and your body isn't getting enough food to keep it going. If you eat too little (or I should say net too little) calories a day, your body can go into starvation mode and your metabolism will definitely slow down. How many calories are you netting each…
  • My goal is to make it to the gym 3-4 days and then to workout at home or go hiking the other days. My gym routine is all cardio right now (yes I know I need to start adding in some strenght training). Some days I run 2min-walk 1min and do this for 30 minutes or 5k walking or 30-45m on eliptical. Today I warmed up 10min…
  • are you counting/adding workout calories from things like cleaning & grocery shopping? If so this might be part of the problem (to me at least). These are daily/weekly things you did before and are part of your normal everyday life. I would only add in actual working out calories. Also, if you know you are going to workout…
  • Marriage is a union of two people, for better or worse, richer or poorer. Finances and responsibilities should be handled TOGETHER! And its totally unfair of person A to rub it in B's face. My husband and I are both in college right now, we both know going into this that the career path I am choosing will not make a lot of…
