This. I was really loathing the possibility of having a super ugly stomach, but heck, who cares, the only one who sees it is my husband, and he obviously doesn't care. lol. I was 225 at my highest (pregnant). I'm now 140, and yes I have some saggy, extra skin, but its really not that bad. Just exercise, eat right, and it…

Yup... just go to a vintage store and try on the size you currently wear, bet it won't fit. lol. Its super annoying how sizes are not very standardized. I admit though, I get caught up in it still. Still lusting and trying to move towards that size 4 tag. :-P

Yes, I've been eating 1700 since beginning of december and have lost almost 10lbs. Before that, my weight loss was stalled and not working. Probably going to up it to 1800 soon. I workout 6 days a week, 1-1.5hrs.

I'm annoyed this week, I'm bloated. I really hate being a woman sometimes. lol. Tomorrow is the day I usually weigh in, blah.

Great job!! Awesome transformation. Will have to show my husband as well!

Yup, try upping your calories. Worked like a charm for me as well. I use this calculator. http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/#results

sw1: 144 w4: 140.8 I'm thrilled really, I'm .8 from my original goal weight. I also measured today, and am down 1" in my hips and belly, and .5" in my waist, since the challenged started, so 1 month! :)

Great tips, I really really need to start doing this.

I didn't take it too seriously in the beginning but I think it was like 12lbs or so in the first 4-6 weeks. (these report graphs really suck on here, wish they would change it to a list.) but mostly water and such im sure. And then another 6lbs. Then I kicked it into gear of April of last year, exercising and such, and am…

Love me some bread! though I do not eat as much as I used to. I buy whichever whole grain/wheat bread has the least amount of ingredients. Great harvest bread co., has a honey whole wheat bread, that is very delicious. and it is dense, so you can eat less and be satisfied of that bread craving. sometimes i just have to…

Big change! Beautiful! great work!!

This month has gone by fast! My loss is continuing slowly but surely. I plan on getting a personal trainer in the next week or two, so I can start a solid weight training program. I wanted to do this earlier, but with sickness and everything else this month, just been crazy! lol. I have a NSV! I fit into size 6 jeans!! my…

1. read the road map thread that others have posted. its excellent. 2. More fruits and veggies. some days i am still not good about this, but i always feel better and fuller when i eat more of them. 3. be honest and accurate with your diary. do not use the quick add calories unless you truly do not know what it was, or…

lots of great ideas! i usually grab some dark chocolate 70% or higher, or popcorn. i'm just snack-y in the evening. its probably more habit for me than anything. lol

I've tried almost every greek yogurt, lol. I started with the flavored kinds, because I couldn't stand the taste of the plain, but as time went on, and I wanted to cut my sugars/carbs down, I slowly made myself eat the plain. Now, it tastes pretty good! You kind of have to acquire your tastebuds to it. I now eat the Fage…

mmmmm ice cream. yum yum.

I recommend talking to your OB. :) Or you could just start with the MFP calculations, just set it to maintain weight.

down 36lbs, from a size 16 to a size 8. I expect to go down another size or more (would be awesome), since I will be losing more after my original goal.

Loss of 1lb! sw: 144, cw: 142.

Eat more, have patience, and keep going! And yes, highly recommend the road map link previously posted. Broke my plateau!

At my YMCA, its 180 for 6, one hour sessions. Or $40 for one, 1 hour.

Great post! Same sentiments here! Congrats on your fantastic loss as well!

I've been feeling like a crazy person since Saturday. Frickin' AF. GRRRRR. I feel out of whack. But I have gotten back to my regular workouts this week, since we are all finally not sick (*knock on wood*). The scale is still heading downwards, so yay for that! only about 2lbs until my original goal I set about a year ago!…

Meh. The only thing I agree with is Soy, because that is scientifically proven to alter hormones in the body IF consumed in high amounts, which you could be getting tons of if you eat a lot of fast food and processed junk. Otherwise, those things in moderation won't kill me.

i've been eating the Balance Bar Bare's lately, and then Nugo Slim, sometimes clif body builders.

I was eating 1400+exercise cals (which I didn't always eat back, probably netting too low), I upped it to 1700 in December, and started losing again, 6lbs since then! FINALLY!! I'm a firm believer now in eating ENOUGH!! I plan to start more weight training soon, and will probably up it to 1800-1900, since my TDEE is about…

I feel ya, OP. It is hard. Especially if you are trying to transition. Add my husband to the list of picky eaters, and I have ww3 at my house every dinner time. It took me like a month to get my 5yr old to eat a banana, he is awfully picky and has texture/sensory issues. My almost 3 year old will eat pretty much any fruit,…

Hello! Didn't make it to the gym today, since my oldest son came down with puking crud last night. But, he should be able to go to school tomorrow, so back at it! Ate pretty well today. Currently looking at the jamie eason live fit trainer on bodybuilding.com.
