Hiya, wanting to work up to full pull ups :-) are there any strength exercises i can do using my own body weight or hand weights to help? I'm not a member of a gym but i do a mixture of circuit training, kettlebell and running. I've also started doing full push ups so im hoping this will help with my new goal? Thanks a mil

i did level 2 of ripped in 30 today - found it really tough as i'm sooo unfit but hopefully that will change in the next 30 :-) my main exercise is going to be running and outdoor circuit training but i'm planning on doing some JM inbetween, will try and keep up with you guys!

which half marathon are you doing in Sept - was looking into doing one but didnt want to wait til Oct.
-
Did this half marathon two years ago was my first time - great experience and definitely 'doable' completed in 2h 17mins and was also a complete novice as ppl have said build up slowly i think i did about 5months worth of training so youre definitely very early which is good as you wont need to run all the time if you…

Attempted ripped in 30 level 3 yesterday OH WOW!!!

I guess this would be similiar to having a spike day or zig zagging your calories over the week...in theory i reckon it would be fine if you stayed within your weekly targets but wondering if this might cause a slight 'lag' on a weekly weigh in? if that makes sense ie if your weigh in day was hypothetically speaking the…

getting on well! instead of crisps i've been munching on shreddies - i've gone through a whole pack which isn't exactl great but it's much much healthier in terms of fat and calories And i've had no fast food or fried food so far
-
was just saying on the other thread that i'm aiming to get my body fat down but that body fat tools really vary...wildy it seems...i guess just use the same one online or other wise and see what it is in say 4 weeks or so and compare
-
im in! but according to Fat2Fit i'm 25.2% and in the 'normal range' Health central i'm 21.6% and therefore overweight and home scales say 29% which would mean i'm at the high end of 'normal' if the range is up to 33% i dont know i'm just going to aim to get it down but i'm not really trying to believe i'm overweight.

I'm impatient and i get bored easily, sometime lack motivation and will power What's your…

1. What's the cheat you are cutting out? For the rest of the week I'd like to cut out all types of convenience food/fast food - specifically pizza and chips. There isn't an alternative for now.

I think the body fat challenge is a good idea as i need to get mine right down!

So yesterday I did level 1 of ripped in 30 - quite good - reminded me of 30 day shred. followed this by killer buns and thighs also by Jillian. Aiming to do ripped in 30 again tomorrow!

Aww i did a half marathon back in 2010 BEST thing ive ever done, such an achievement you're starting nice and early so youll be fine no big deal if you miss a day or two. I started training 6 months before the half marathon and i completed in 2h 17mins so it's perfectly doable in your time frame. Enjoy! Get fitted for…
