  • While taking a walk outside today, I determined that in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe, I would be a Waterbender, my father would be an Airbender, my mother would be an Earthbender, and my sister would be a Firebender. Immediately after thinking this, I realized that it would be impossible for an Airbender and an…
  • Today I am a geek because I'm picking up new batteries for my TARDIS cookie jar and sonic screwdrivers to get ready for Regeneration Who Con.
  • I always say that I have to get in shape so I'll be ready to run with the Doctor.
  • I'm so excited!! :D The second trailer was even better than the first!
  • The only ones I remember are Adipose 3, Pyrovillia, The Lost Moon of Poosh, Clom, and of course, Earth.
  • This is an awesome thread! Here's one that I love from Doctor Who. The episode is called "Vincent and the Doctor" Amy Pond: We didn't make a difference at all. The Doctor: I wouldn't say that. The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. Hey. [hugs Amy] The Doctor: The good things don't always…

  • Yes, she was in The Fires of Pompeii as a soothsayer which was during the 10th Doctor and Donna era.
  • Yes!! I screamed "Not Jenny!" at the tv.
  • My thoughts exactly!
  • Well there are many moments in Doctor Who that I find powerful, but I'll just mention one for now. It's the moment in "The Wedding of River Song" when the Silence are attacking and Madam Kovarian asks Amy to help her. Not only was Amy's speech really powerful, and made me cry a little, but it's the fact that she "kills"…
  • 12 years old? He can handle it. Do it!
  • I started watching at series 5 because it was on Xfinity and then went back to series 1-4, which makes Silence in the Library so much sadder!
  • I'm a new Whovian myself. Started watching after my friend bugged me to and I'm so glad that I did! Like you, I tore through the new incarnation and have now started to get my mom to watch them. I haven't seen much of the old stuff, though I'd like to. And I have to say that while I love Ten, I'd have to say that Eleven is…
  • I'm a Sweets-aholic too, more specifically, a Choc-aholic. The numerous times before that I've tried to lose weight and get healthy, I cut out most, if not all, of the sweets from my diet. I tried eating fruit instead because everyone said that it was a great substitute. But, like you, I still wanted sweets. I always say…
  • Been there. It's hard to choose just one. No big deal, especially since you're going to work it off.
  • Absolutely you can! I'm doing it myself. Check out this group for Leslie Sansone Walk at Home. Her videos are great if you want to get healthy through walking and trust me, they will get your heart rate up. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/335-leslie-sansone-walk-at-home
  • Here's the thing about guys. They have no concept of size. I work at Catherines. It's a plus sized clothing store. We get guys that come in trying to find something for their wives and they never know what size she is. One time, my boss, who is both petite and all around tiny, asked a man what size his wife was. His…
  • I'm with you on that. I've been overweight for about ten years (or a little less than half of my life), so there is a part of me that is scared to finally lose the weight and be thin. It's just such a foreign concept. Also, there is a certain amount of safety in staying bigger; it is the comfort zone. But I just have to…
  • I have the theater masks on my outer left ankle that both my sister and I got. The strips of fabric that kind of swirl around it spell out A on the top and C on the bottom (our initials)
  • Congrats on getting healthy!!! It's a big accomplishment and you are quite inspiring to me!! :)
  • I was in a production of The Wizard of Oz in high school and I played the Tin Woodsman. One of my cast-mates said that since I was a girl, they should call me Tinchick and the name has stuck ever since.
  • Kidney transplant. June 24, 2003. Living donor, my mom. No issues at all.
  • I totally agree with that. I have been in therapy for about 2 years now and it has done wonders for me. I highly recommend it for everyone because, as you said, we all have our own demons.
  • I found an awesome picture to sum up this experience. http://iwastesomuchtime.com/on/?i=39192
  • Thank you all for your kind words and support. I really appreciate it. It's nice to hear encouragement from (mostly) strangers instead of just negativity. And btw: I responded to one of the comments and the person responded back! I don't think he/she knows that I'm the person in the video, but let's just say that whichever…
  • So do you ask your friends outside of MFP to tell you everything that they ate that day and then end the friendship if they refuse to tell you?
  • I started with 5 Day Slim Down - A Mile Each Morning and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you are a beginner. It is broken up into a warm-up, a cool down, and 5 separate miles, each focusing on a different part of the body. I like it because you can choose how many miles that you want to do and since the…
  • I have found myself becoming addicted to weighing myself, so I made the decision to only weigh myself once a week (Sunday mornings, since that tends to be my cheat day). I also keep the scale in my mother's bathroom, so I don't have to see it and be tempted to weigh myself.
