Wow, that is awesome! I have noticed a huge reduction in joint pain, cravings, fatigue, etc. so I'm with you! Those tips are great. Thanks so much!

That's fantastic! Great job!!

Thanks! At my highest I was 244.8, at my lowest, 154.6. I regained about 40 and am now around 180. Trying to get to 140. I'm down 13 as of today!! Since 9/17- exactly 5 weeks. Feeling great.

Totally. I'm experiencing natural hunger for the first time. When my body is meant to eat. Still wrapping my head around it.

From what I've researched (I'm not an expert but read A LOT of research about Keto) - 1. If there are any carbs in what you drink, your body will burn those before burning fat, as it does with regular carbs in food (going over 20-25 carbs in one sitting can stall progress) 2. When your body is processing alcohol, it always…

I've been LCHF for a little over a month now. 11 pounds down. Love it!

I'm 5'5.5" and technically my goal is 145 which would put me around 25% body fat. I started at 244.8 and am currently at 174.8, though I had gotten down to 154.6 back in April and put on weight again due to injury and issues with my thyroid and eating less healthy. I didn't see or appreciate how good I looked at that…

Hi! I'm Courtney and I was on this site a few times before it really started to work so yes third time will be the charm!! I try to log everything and eat really healthy and clean, I also work out a lot, but of course it's a process and I get off track too. My heaviest was 244.8, my lightest was 154.6, due to an injury,…

Wow you look incredible, great job!!

My 30th birthday is December 21 and I so wanted to be at my goal by then. It's really unrealistic. So, I must adapt: Realistic goal: 12 pounds Wishful goal: 23 pounds

I have hypothyroidism. I have huge struggles with losing weight but find that clean eating and exercise work, it just takes twice as much effort it seems. It's so worth it though. Feel free to friend me if you'd like!

Thanks for your insight that is really helpful! I do think composition is key. And yeah why are people so snarky on here! It's funny how people hide behind their keyboards and act all high and mighty and superior and rude when most people are just on here trying to better themselves. Quite sad actually. I appreciate…

It's great you found what works for you. There's definitely no one-size-fits-all formula. Great job on the 70 pounds! :)

Yes, I absolutely have this problem. I have to remind myself that it's better to be 200 over than 800 over. And I force myself to log absolutely everything unless it's like a wedding or special occasion, and even then I only allow myself one non-logging day. Logging everything, even when I go over, is really important for…

I lost 90 from my heaviest and gained back about 25 of it because I hurt my knee and stopped working out as much, also started eating less healthy and drinking more occasionally.. Working very hard to lose it again. I am still down about 70 but it is a struggle each and every day. Makes me stronger though! For sure!! You…

Hahaha thanks! I do feel sluggish and lethargic when I eat more bread, and I feel more energetic when I eat mainly veggies, lean protein, healthy fats, and fruit. I don't want to cut anything out 100% but I've noticed that as I've been eating more wheat I do feel kind of icky sometimes. Anyway this is funny and helpful so…
-
Thanks for your insight, that is interesting!

I'm not talking about eliminating all carbohydrates or all grains. Just wheat. Not asking for opinions if you think it's a bad idea. Just asking if anyone has had success with it. If you haven't, then feel free to not comment on this thread.

Hey mine is @courtneyebw (workouts, recipes, life!) and then i have one for before and afters @afireworkinprogress so we can show the world that healthy eating and exercise are the keys to weight loss- there's so much crap all over instagram about wraps/pills/etc!! it's a shame. i think it's important to show real people…

I much prefer grass-fed whey!! It's important to me that the cows are eating grass-fed otherwise we're ingesting corn byproducts and I try to avoid corn/wheat/soy in my diet. Whole foods has the Reservage Organics brand which I like but it's pricey and I'm not crazy about the flavor. Thanks to all for input!

I tried Vega, I guess it's an alternative to Shakeology. Not a fan! Seriously are there are very few options or am I looking in the wrong place?
-
Awesome Hannah!! Will feature you tonight! I followed you on my personal acct @courtneyebw :)
-
Thanks! I don't need vegan or anything, but I was using a grass-fed whey from whole foods I liked but wanted to try something new. I just don't want to consume a lot of chemicals and additives like I've found in some. I'm not sure if egg or casein or whey is best, I've heard whey is but people have a lot of different…

I'm on there as @courtneyebw, I have lots of fitness/health stuff. Also I have a page for transformations, @afireworkinprogress, so if you want to be featured let me know!

Awesome! I requested you!

Great guys, this is awesome!! I'm so proud of what we're all doing through MFP and eating healthy and working out and I just wanna shout it from the rooftops!!! :)
-
@afireworkinprogress!

People can be so judgmental!! You're beautiful and seem to be healthy so don't listen to the judgments. I've been there too when I've wanted to lose weight quickly, it doesn't make you an unhealthy person. And yes a pound of fat is 3500 calories, but you also have tons of water in your system and it's not hard to lose…

What an incredible transformation!! Great job!!!
