I'm in - I always do my measuring on Fridays so will start on Friday. Weirdly I just posted a thread about this - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/557040-ladies-lean-mass
I would like to join and will add my info by Monday evening. I need to figure out my goal based on my target body fat%. Thank…

Hey, thank you for posting this because I never knew what ideal weight I should be shooting for. Now I think I will do what you suggest and aim for a body fat percentage of 15% (a long term goal for sure). I am starting the book You Are Your Own Gym.

Very inspiring -- great job!

That is terrific! I hope to have the same influence on my family by leading with my example not with lecturing.

Oh my goodness, the just for fun pose -- adorable! I am the same height as you, although a different shape. I may borrow your fun pose for when I post my photos (consider it a tribute) hopefully soon! Terrific job. :)

Company? I just drank homemade juice from fresh produce . . .

Terrific results for 60 days of effort! You must be so proud and I am proud of you for making your health and fitness a priority. I am a parent and i love to see people setting good examples that I can share with my children. I am trying to do the same, but I know that the more people get on board with health and fitness…

Yes! Cashews, fruits and veggies for juicing, olives, hummus, and my two favorites in season right now (can't get enough) -- avocados and artichokes!

Terrific job! You are very methodical and I think that has helped with your success. I don't think you looked pregnant at all in the first picture, but regardless you are looking healthier and fitter now. I think your cute shirt looks even cuter as you make progress.

Terrific job! I just finished Ripped in 30 as well. I need to take my after pics. I hope my results are as noticible.

For more discussions on this topic, search for the vegetarian and vegan groups on this site. My own experience has been great so far so I don't have any interest in the standard American diet anymore.

Another one crossing the Ripped in 30 finish line! Week 2 Day 8 complete. 30 days total complete, over a span of 6 weeks because I took weekends off. I did a week at each level, then the remaining two weeks I did a different level each day. I am moving on to 30DS next. Great job everyone and I'm happy to be participating…

Thank you CarolinaGirl for the noro advice. Luckily it didn't turn out to be that after all, but if it hits I will be prepared! Lisa, your cookie comments were funny!

Yesterday I completed Ripped in 30 Week 3 Day 7, and today I completed Ripped in 30 Week 4 Day 7. I have completed 28 total days of this DVD, working out on the weekdays and taking the weekends off. We'll see how I do over the next week with the kids home from school and with family from out of town staying over . . .

also interested . . .

Greetings Hufflepuffs! My oldest son is sick, possibly with the norovirus that has been raging through the schools around here. I've been trying to feed the family lots of fresh produce and raw stuff, but we may not have escaped regardless.

Fantastic!

Checking in, saying hello. I have been good with my eating and exercising but have not been losing weight. We did just get a pull-up bar for our household and even though I can't do any yet, I can work my way up to it . . .

I made the IMG lowercase but it looks like two of the same photo . . .

I couldn't see the photos

Since someone suggested it, I checked out the groups local to me on Meetup.com. Wow! Bicycling, gardening, Spanish, social, dancing, investing . . . and I live in a fairly small town! I have kind of the opposite situation as the OP, have a busy family and too many things always going on so I am often seeking solitude so I…

Yes, my skin does seem to have improved coloring and I've had a friend comment on it. My face often feels hot (more than normal) especially with exertion. It's like being a kid and being flushed with good health. The hottness I feel could be because of my age though, premenopausal at age 46 . . .

Great topic and so true. Only change I would make based on my experience is instead of telling people to stop starving yourself I would say to START NOURISHING YOURSELF! I really believe my choices were nutrient poor and therefore I had cravings that have reduced substantially now that I am getting lots of fresh fruits and…

These sound like great creative ideas. I just completed reading the entire series OUT LOUD to my boys. It took years but has been so worth it. I hope they read them on their own later because the social commentary and some of the humor may have been over their heads (at least for the 7 yr old).

Great post -- thanks!

Nice work - you're dedication is paying off! I'm impressed that you are using NROWL, I've read it but haven't started and don't belong to a gym. Yay for you!
