My lowest was 130, my high 226, and I am now at 208. I do not want to be 130 again because looking back at my prom picture my eye sockets look sunk in and I definitely was way to skinny, people even would comment on it. I am shooting for about 150. I am 5'7''.

What eric said. They don't take the exercise goals into account when calculating calories. Just be sure you're logging to exercises and eating back those cals. Great work love!

I found out my thyroid was off about a year ago, though mine was only slightly. I started MFP in Jan and dropped 18 pounds but hit a plateau in March. No matter how hard I tried I was not losing weight. I got my thyroid checked again on June 3rd, it was at something like 5.3, and they have increased my medicine. I have not…

I let my 5 and 9 year old work out with me all the time. Your sons will be at an age where weight training is part of their gym soon anyway. Just keep the weights low if you allow them to try them. It's great to allow them to make exercise and healthy eating part of their lifestyles now. Hopefully they will continue it…

When I had my kids the OB said that breastfeeding actually helps you loose weight. Try increasing your water intake.

It's a myth that dairy causes mucus. Many people confuse the temporary, slight thickening of saliva after drinking milk with mucus. There is no scientific research showing that milk produces mucus in the airways or the throat. It will not worsen cold or asthma symptoms.

I don't have exercises for you, but I bought the champion version of Sketchers Shape-ups from payless and I haven't had problems with shin splints since. I used to get them just walking uphill.

Alright. My goal is 1 mile a day for at least 5 days a week...so I'm setting it at 25 but hope to blow that out of the water!

Eat a balanced meal. Don't worry about the calories, as long as you don't make habit of it it won't hurt you to be short for one day. If you want to make up a large portion of those calories think protein.

I'm a SAHM so my activity level is sedentary. I log house cleaning/yard work that makes me break a sweat or my heart pump, especially if I'm doing a lot of bending or lifting.
