^this and girls that come in with a full face of fresh make up and "work out" with their hair down. [/quote] I have forgotten my rubber band on a few occasions and it sucks. I also wear make-up when I'm coming from work. Such judgement on appearance. Shouldn't it be enough that I actually went to the gym and worked up a…

Divorced 13 years. Remarried 2 weeks. I have known my husband 6 months today. On out very first date I loved him, after our second date I told my mom I was going to marry him. I believe God gave me him. He is the most kind, caring, loving, adoring smart husband and father I know. I had a couple of relationships that awhile…

When I started (36 pounds heavier) I could barely run for 1 min at 5mph. Now I can run 4 miles at 6.5. Just takes time to condition your body and lungs. I say go for it and who cares what other people think.

I got my tatoo on my rib cage and my sports bra sat right over it. I ran on the treadmill that night. Just put neosporin on it before and after. I did not have any issues.

if I don't look like a red sweaty gross mess, I don't feel like I worked out hard enough and I go back to the gym after work. I don't want to cheat myself.

I work out six days a week. 2-3 days I go twice. Usually 1/2 hr cardio then 1/2 hr weights. I push myself everyday. If I'm not sore the next day I feel as though I didnt work out hard enough. The key is to find something that you can/want to do and stick with it.

me too. my hair is also curled. At least by the end I'm a sweaty gross mess

Hi and welcome. Looks like you are off to a good start. To be the most successful you are going to have to find out why you eat the way you do and how can you refocus that energy. You stated you competed before...maybe that is where you should put your energy. Congratulations on taking the first step to a healhier life.

When people don't wipe their grossness off the machines when they are finished using them. Did I say gross?

i know for me, when I work out I have more energy. I don't feel like I need a nap in the middle of the day. So in theory I move more and burn more calories just by feeling more energized. I wasn't trying to start an arguement. I was just frustrated. What if an obese person walked into that gym and was told that…

I'm pretty sure I had your neighbors in my last apartment. It sounds like retalliation for something. Have you mentioned to them about how noisy they are? I tried that and it only got worse. I went to the management company and that didn't help, it only got worse. I left my apartment a few times because of the noise and…

i do this but after 2 miles it is not that helpful. The sports bra is snug even.

if your body is already depleted, the 2 minutes of running could be too much

Are you stretching? Drinking enough water? Getting enough potassium? I had the same problem. I stretch my calf muscles before and I dont seem to having the same problem.

pilates has helped me firm up

I go to the gym 6 days a week and sweat like crazy, which means I wash my hair at least 6/7 days. I use Aussie leave-in conditioner (spray) it also has heat protectant. I blow dry and hot iron every time I wash. Just get the regular 6 week trim.

make sure you are pulling your abs in towards your belly button and don't hold your breath.

I too had to change to AM work outs due to change in work schedule. I make my lunch the night before as well as get the coffee pot ready and have my gym bag packed with my work clothes. I get up at 430 to make it there by five. There are days I really don't want to go but I know if I don't I wont go at all that day. I do…

I do pilates and have worn my hr monitor and for me its in the range above. Calories burned varies greatly on the participation of the person. If you put a little in you get a little out same goes for high intensity. I love to do it at least once a week, it helps to stretch out my muscles from all of the running and…
