Oh that’s what the difference is! My first one I was relieved as I thought it would be horrid and it was fine. Then recently had one OW! OUCH! I thought it was the nurse :/

I’ve lost over 30 pounds and feel the same! ( some trousers a little loose) But I think I must’ve been hiding the pounds I’d been putting on. (My back my legs? Visceral fat?) I know I’m heading in the right direction, my body thanks me for not having to carry that extra around. I’m about half way there .. and I know the…

Hi Cheryl! IF is an Ideal tool for maintenance. When you are fasting make sure it is “clean”. Ie just black coffee tea or water. Having a late breakfast and nothing after dinner is probably not too difficult Lots of info on line. ( I recommend delay don’t deny by Gin Stephens

I’m finding the longer I’ve been doing this , longer fasts have become easier. ( I don’t miss breakfast at all!) So enjoy eating out stretch your window a little, just know it’s not going to be a regular thing Now I can fast longer so having occasional longer eating windows is not a problem Ü

I heard recently that 80% of thin people did not have to work at it. We have different metabolisms and born into different lifestyles. I don’t think we should take the blame for how we got there .. but definitely take the credit for losing it and huge kudos for keeping it off ( the Biggest Loser never had a reunion show…

First month lost way more ... second month not so much. But I do notice weigh ins always seem to go up and down

Hi Sydwes! I still count too.. a lot don’t. Sometimes I exaggerate my meal size so I can get it up to 1000 just so I can see MFPs predictions for 5 weeks time Ü

Years ago I went on reductal. ( sounds like very similar stuff.). My doctor was great. Monitored it closely I LOVED how it decreased my appetite sped up my metabolism and gave me energy. And yes GREAT results!! ( although between the medication and dr fees it was not cheap!) Now we can’t get it here in New Zealand. And my…

It’s worse when your fav sister in law shows you a photo that she had of you and hadn’t let you see it because “how fat you were!” .. then down the track you gain it all with interesti .. and wonder what she’s thinking now :/

Have you noticed being short we have to almost jog to keep up with our long legged friends?! At least we don’t have to go so far to do 10,000 steps!

Hi there. I’m 58. Started 18:6 just over a week ago .. yet to stand on the scales. But feel great
-
I’ve just started IF too and am same height as you! Years ago I used reductil and it really worked. You can’t get it now .. but I’m finding IF. Has the same triple bonus. *more energy *less appetite *faster metabolism Mind you I’ve not stood on scales yet. Waiting till 4 weeks is up. But I feel sooo goood!
-
How do you find it?
-
I don’t know how to add either ... but we’ll done!
-
I’m finding with IF I don’t tend to snack makes a big difference on the count
-
Yes!! I’ve started but have not weighed myself yet. ( the up downs make me lose hope, so I’m waiting for a month). But I FEEL. Better I’m doing 18:6 ( weekends I aim as close as I can) M - F I walk over 10000 steps in the morning Hunger pains are calories burning!
-
Wow well done Harley!! 2 weeks ago 90.6 Ks I started 10000 steps plus skipping lunch. Last weekend someone told me about IF and I’ve found it so much better than skipping lunch!! I’m doing the 18:6 I won’t get on scales for another fortnight because I find the up downs demoralising

Last time I lost weight I noticed I had to stop saying fat jokes. ( they were always against myself)
