Thank you! Yes, I do believe in the herbal ones as well. They really help get those extra toxins from the body. I currently use apple cider vinegar and vitamin e oil (to help with my scarring and healing of my stomach)... and it works great. I will look into this link as well. Thank you :)

My routine is currently lifting, circuit or HIIT and a little cardio inbetween (mostly Zumba if I feel up to it)... so it's definitely making changes. Thank you for your input... it's nice to hear that other moms like me have persevered and are now getting results.

I would have to say spending extra time with my kids, especially now that I am working. The only time I can get a good workout in is if I am at the gym and they're in the childcare, because I am uninterrupted. If I try to workout at home with them, it's an all out disaster. And doing it before they wake up in the mornings,…

I absolutely agree with the above comment. At 5'6, you are not within a healthy BMI, if you are 110lbs. Granted, some women are naturally that weight at 5'6 -- they do not "make" themselves weight 110lbs... You should set your goals a little higher, something in a more healthy weight range like 120. If you're looking for…

Hey! I too am a momma of three (10, 5 & 2) -- I gained between 35 & 60lbs with each of them, however I was left with a very saggy, stretched out stomach as a result. I also have diastasis recti - but do not have the time nor the money to have it repaired yet. I've also been incorporating more weights into my workout and…

I am feeling the EXACT same way... I went from 183lbs down to 133lbs -> Was SOOOOOO EXCITED to have lost 50lbs... but then looking in the mirror I still felt really fat. I got really down on myself and "gave up" -- gained back about 10lbs... I am trying to get those 10lbs off. I am now 3.8lbs away from being back at my…

I should be consuming around 1650 calories a day. I burn between 500-1000 calories a day doing lifting, biking (trailering 3 kids), Zumba, tone & sculpt classes, etc... I usually do the majority of my workouts between 6-8pm... so by the time I get home it's hard to consume my calories burned right before bed. It usually…

I, to take a Toning & Sculpt class... depending where, it's usually 45-60 minutes long and I log it as Calisthenics, Vigorous --- it's usually very intense and nonstop. So that's how I get away with it. :)

I absolutely see a difference! You look great! :) Keep up the hard work, whatever you're doing! And your skin looks a lot clearer in the 2nd picture too... are you drinking more water? I noticed mine cleared up significantly when I started drinking more.

Hi! I am a SAHM of 3! And I run an in-home daycare, so I usually have about 3 extra's on top of my own! haha... I'm very close to meeting all my goals now; and am starting to really try and tone up the weight that I have lost. But I'd still love to help out with motivation! :) I am 5'5 and at my heaviest weighed almost…

On top of my protein shakes already today, I've had 2 cups of spinach, a baked sweet potato and onion. I still have dinner to eat yet and I'll probably snack on some cucumbers later too :)

I have the SAME problem too! I have very boney shoulders and the tops of both of my shoulders are so bruised from the weighted body bar I use for squats and toning. I have no idea how to stop that from happening...

Height: 5'5" Age/Gender: 28 Female Highest weight: 193lbs (183lbs the day I came home from the hospital after the birth of my 3rd child) Current Weight: 134lbs Current body fat: Approx. 26% Lowest weight: 110 (in 2008 before getting pregnant with 2nd) Goal weight: 128lbs (my ultimate goal is to have a flat stomach & firm…

I am the same way -- I do not like water. I don't like the taste of it and can only drink it if it's hot out or I've been working out and even then, it has to be SUPER FREAKING COLD to drink it all. Once it gets warm, or the ice melts, then I can't drink it anymore. It gags me. I've always been that way. I started getting…

I used to have a friend that got them when walking or running on the treadmill, guess the friction from her thighs rubbing or something made it happened. I couldn't even imagine having that happen mid-exercise --- especially at a gym or in a fitness class!! I think I would die! Hahaha...

Woah! I did NOT know this!! How do you figure this out then for someone in my weight category??? lol I did I not know this!?

I will admit... I did!! hahaha

Hahahaha this had me rolling!!! LOL

I am the exact same way... I knew I had an extra 20lbs of baby #2 weight that I never lost before I got pregnant with #3. And after baby was born, I kept telling myself that I looked "good" when I'd look in the mirror, considering how much weight I had to lose in reality. Then last New Years, my sister took a picture of my…

Half my family members use Body by Vi and have had long, lasting, AMAZING results! I do NOT agree with the 10lbs per week -- however, Body by Vi is a lifestyle change. Once you lose your weight, you maintain it with their yummy shakes and regular exercise. You still eat meals, etc. It's just like Slimfast or the Weight…

I was put on Celexa for depression about 3 years ago and gained 10lbs in 3 weeks on it. I was working out, eating healthy, etc. I didn't change my eating habits at all.. and the weight just piled on. It really messed with me and honestly, was having adverse effects, making me more depressed that I was gaining weight. So…

I'm a work in progress as well. My profile picture is me at New Years 2012 and me now, at New Years 2013! I've lost 49lbs and I have about 6 more pounds to go to get to my goal weight of 128lbs. I'm 5'5. Baby #3 did NUMBERS on me that I am trying my hardest to reverse! ;)

This is HEALTHY weight for you. Try working out to tone up your muscles and look leaner, rather than focusing on a number on the scale. I am 5'5 and 134lbs and this is a perfect weight for me; my goal is 128lbs but it's a slow process because my body is starting to maintain since this is a healthy weight. It will take a…

I don't know anything about you (age, reason for being on MFP, etc) but just your topic title alone screams eating disorder. I have battled disordered eating habits since I was 15 years old. I used to do exactly what you were doing and then it resulted into me heading straight into bulimia. I am now 28 years old and for…

I have been doing Zumba for over a year now, with regular exercise & clean eating and I have lost 13+ inches, 49lbs and even feel sexier!! :) It truly does work!! I started off a size 12/14 and am now a 4/6. It's amazing how fast it'll whittle your waist down and tone you! Inches will fly off before you see huge weight…

Absolutely amazing! You are stunning! LOVE the dress too!! :) Keep up the good work love! You're such an inspiration to so many!!

That is unbelievably rude! People are so cruel anymore. I'm so sorry for your setback, especially when you have come so far! 50lbs is a lot of weight (the average size of an 8ur old child is 50lbs!!) Do not listen to those critics. They have nothing better to do with their time, than to sit & bash other people. I know what…

I weigh in the morning, naked - after I've peed. And then I will at night when I take my clothes off. Everyone will have fluctuations in their weight... honestly, I don't think its even possible to weigh the same in the morning and night after eating pizza & with clothes on. Water weight alone will have you increase &…

I am the same way! I've always had a soft Tummy and a little extra "cushion" around my mid-section even at my smallest (116lbs, size 4) and it took 2hrs of working out with weights & cardio to tone & tighten after my first. After my second, I lost all the weight but my hips & waistline was wider and I carried an extra…
