Can't wait to try the new flavor! I've just opened the 5 different flavors of boxes I bought off the quest site cyber Monday. I really don't need to buy any but once this snow storm passes through I will have to run to GNC to pick up one to try tomsee I like enough to get a box of them.

I asked my ob/gyn about this since I'm on the depo shot and had read & heard weight gain is an issue with it. The shot itself won't make you gain weight but its what you eat that will. So if you watch what you eat and honestly log daily it won't be an issue.

I've been looking into this lately too. Trying to decide if I should get a Roku or get the new google usb thing. From what I have read you only get Netflix and one other station with the google usb thing and with Roku you get like 1000 stations? The google usb is only $35 and Roku's run anywhere from $50 to$100 depending…

Try Nectar brand Chocolate Truffle. I have been using it since May 2012 and still have a shake every morning for breakfast with skim milk and tblsp of PB2 mixed in it. Vitamin Shoppe sells it locally or go to Bariatric Choice and get it online for $34.99 for a 2 lb tub of it. Good luck!

How long have you been a gym member? 11 months. How often & how long do you work out for? I go 3-4 times a week and usually work out for 1 1-1/2 hours each time. What's your favorite thing to do at the gym? I usually warm up with 15 -25 minutes of cardio on the ellipitcial machine and then do one of the classes my gym…

LOL! I have the shar pei butt look after loosing 140 pounds. Alot of it is loose skin to be honest with you and nothing is gonna help that unless you have it cut off! I go to the gym 3-4 times a week for cardio and strength training and it has toned me up some but it won't perform miracles! Good luck!

How much are you exercising? If you are exercising more than 30 minutes a day, you need to up your cals some. You need to drink 80-100 oz of water a day also. My WLS program Nut told me you need 130 grams of carbs a day for healthy brain function. I would up your carbs, cals and water for a week and see what happens. Good…

I've never tried them due to hearing the comments people have written about them that have. I personally LOVE the Quest Bars and have one a day sometimes 2 a day if using one as a meal.

Quest bars and Power Crunch bars!

I do believe that is normal. It depends on what you are eating. Salty or sodium high foods will make you retain water and you'll post a gain on the scale. I vary 3-4 pounds a day sometimes. If you drink alot of water also you will weigh more. Of course you always weigh more at night then when you first get up. I do weigh…

They are YUMMMMMMMYYYYY!

Yes it does but it is up to you to log every day and be honest with what you log. I lost 47 pounds using MFP from Feb-June 2012 before my Sleeve WLS. I still log in daily and am honest with everything I log. I have logged in over 620 days now!
-
I really don't eat them much since my WLS Sleeve. For one they are loaded with sodium and the protein levels in them isn't very good. I can only eat about 1/4 to 1/2 of them also.

A couple questions...is it more cardio or strength training driven workout? I don't need to loose weight but just maintain and "tone up" more. The workouts I saw on the tv infomorcial looked like the workouts I have done at my gym that they call Dynamic Training. I also have a bone on bone knee and wondered if I could…

I love planks. They are challenging but so good for strength training. I try to do 4 every morning. Good luck!

I don't go to Goodwill or donate to them either after reading an article about how much the "higher ups" make there. I go to Salvation Army to shop and donate also.

I took most of mine to a clothing consignment store where I got 40% of what they sold each item for. I made over $600 last year on my fall and winter and spring and summer stuff that was too big. What they didn't take, I donated to my local domestic violence women's shelter for the survivors staying there or for them to…

I kept loosing till I up'd my calories per day and ate back some of my exercised burn calories. Right now I try to eat 1490 in cals a day, 80 or more grams of protein, 80 oz of more of water and when I do workout, eat back some of my exercised cals back. I got as low as 124 but after adding cals and eating back some burn…

I love my Polar FT7. Waterproof and can use in the pool for water cardio classes. You just don't hit any buttons while it is under water is the only rule! I had some gift cards when I got mine through Macys.com and only paid $20 out of my own pocket. I love it and use it everytime I go to the gym.

Google compression workout clothing and you can read what the difference is. They are made to help the body recover quicker from workouts by stimulating blood cirulation from what I have read plus as others have said they keep all the jiggly parts from moving! I current just wear tops and workout tights or yoga pants to…

When I met with plastic surgeon a couple months ago I asked him how many pounds of loose skin do I have. He said only about 5 or 7 pounds. I went from 270 to 124 from 2/1/12 to May 2013. I am now at 132 and maintaining at that weight the last two months or so. Most of my loose skin on my upper arms and then my tummy area.…

Thanks for the info. My other issue is how hard it is to get them on and then after workout!?!? I guess I should just go to a brick and mortor store and try some on first to see if I would even like them before ordering some online?
-
Because of what it is made of and that is tighter clothing than I usually wear to work out in. Worried about all my loose skin and cellulite being seen too if I don't wear anything over it. I didn't know if the material let your skin breath. New Balance has a sale on theirs but most of the size small stuff is gone.…

Yes I eat them. My WLS program Nut. told me that a person needs to consume at least 130 grams or more a day of carbs for healthy brain function. I have told her about some people that have WLS were told by their program to keep carbs at like 50-80 and she said that isn't safe or healthy. They never told me number to be…

I am in the same boat. I will have to log the rest of my life. In the past that is what got me gaining the weight back I had lost and more due to not keeping track of what I was eating. I need to log to keep myself in check and I also weigh myself each morning also. I don't obsess over what I eat and if the calorie count…

I try to get 80-100 grams of protein a day. Try greek yogurt, protein shakes, protein bars. Edamane is a good source of protein also. Tuna is too. I try to have greek yogurt for my morning snack and a quest bar or power crunch bar for afternoon snack. Good luck!

I was told my weight loss surgery program nutritionist that a person needs at least 130 grams of carbs a day for healthy brain function. So I get 130 grams or more a day. Sometimes it is 160-170 depending on what I eat. I focus mainly on 80-100 grams of protein a day and at least 80 oz of water or more a day. Good luck!

I had been doing cardio and strength training while in the loosing weight stage. Now in maintence since around April 2013 I do less cardio and more strength training. I still do cardio but maybe just not as much as I was before. My nutritionist told me to do less cardio and more strength since I don't want to loose more…

I had never ever been in a gym in my life till Jan of 2013. I joined Planet Fitness. I was nervous the first time I went in and used the equpment. I had been on a exercise bike in physical therapy but had never done a treamill or elliptical machine or weight machines. I was a member till June 2013 then I went to a…

Sounds great to me! My goal is to continue to maintain at around 132. Go to the gym 2-3 times a week. Hopefully it will be cooler out too soon so also to go bike riding more the next two months. Good luck to all!
