  • Wow! Congratulations. I bet the weight will be dropping of you, and your bones should start hardening up again nicely too. Way to go!
  • I get that more isn't better if you aren't trying (e.g. work harder for better results faster) makes sense. But that's not really 'less is more'.... It's simple math, calories in vs calories out. If you burn 500 calories in 10 minutes vs burning 400 in 30 minutes then you will see better results from the 10 minutes. But if…
  • I could use some motivation! I've decided to start again after quitting a few months back (and subsequently gaining 20lbs!!) My sister and hubby were my buddies, but they don't do it anymore, so I really could use the encouragement to stick with it. :blushing:
  • Four seasons in one day? Forget it! I don't want it to rain at all. It will beautifully sunny, but not too hot, and definitely not humid. My husband and I will be in a woodland/forest where they run an outdoor spa (fine because it never rains) and we get pampered all day long. Ahhh... a girl can dream eh?
  • I like it. It's definitely worth investing in the fit plus though. It makes quite a lot of difference. The games are harder and more varied, anyone who doesn't break a sweat whilst flapping their arms on the birdie flight one is a machine!!
  • p.s. 7lb in five weeks is a commendable weight loss. Stick with it. You are doing great!
  • I would look at your exercise to be honest. If you are eating plenty of protein you are a perfect candidate for building some muscle mass. Increasing muscle tissue increases your metabolism, so when you do cardio your work out will be much more effective and help you burn calories in a shorter amount of time. Try…
  • I'm on kid no.2 as well - granted she is only 3.5 weeks old, but I am really trying to lose weight this time. Last time I lost weight very quickly, but put it on again (and then some!) between pregnancies. This time I lost 39lb in the 2 weeks after the birth, but in the last week and a half have put 8lb back on! Not really…
  • Congratulations! I'm well pleased with similar weight loss, although a 1/3 of mine was just giving birth!!
  • Amazing difference!! You are a real 'thinspiration' for a newbie like me.
  • Thanks. Have worked out how to up the calorie intake. As you can tell I'm new! till getting to grips with the site a bit. I think its great though.

  • I'm from the UK, but looking forward to getting some dieting pals online. Just moved house about a 4.5 hour drive away from all my friends, so community on here is going to be really helpful to kick start my new healthier lifestyle. Lost 18lbs last week (in fairness I also gave birth to a 9lb 12oz baby!!) but have to go…
