Anyone doing Atkins/low carb/keto is welcome to add me as a friend. I started here on MFP back in April, counting calories only, and my weight loss was extremely slow, which was a surprise since I have so much weight to lose. I kept getting stuck at plateaus so I decided to try something different. In August I started…

I'm new at this too (started in August) and I'm sure there are others who can give better answers than I can. I did read a book about low carb eating, and it suggested drinking broth with sodium once a day, to alleviate many of the side effects, especially in the beginning of the diet. I believe when you eat keto that you…

I just noticed this thread now. On rare occasions my family orders chinese food. Lately I've been getting chicken and broccoli, steamed, with NO sauce at all. They used to give carrots but lately they stopped serving carrots with the steamed broccoli which works fine for me. And no rice of course haha... When it arrives I…

I second the suggestion for deviled eggs! I make mine with eggs, real mayo, vinegar, salt, pepper, and spicy mustard. Oh, and bacon pieces. My friends who aren't eating the way I do always go crazy when I add real pieces of bacon to my deviled eggs. :) Oh, edited to add one more idea: chicken wings!

Congratulations, that is just wonderful. Hooray! I started MFP back in April, just after you did, and I really wish I had tried keto back then...I would have lost much more weight by now. Better late than never though! ;)

Wow. Wow. Amazing, congratulations, incredibly inspiring, etc, etc. Reading this made me a little emotional. I hope that you can always hold onto this accomplishment, the feeling you have right now, and remember it whenever you get discouraged or are facing a huge challenge. What you have already done is proof that you can…

I am friendly and on MFP every day. I have been here since April when I set a goal to lose 100 lbs. I've lost 21 so far and have a long way to go. So I will be here a while. Anyone is welcome to add me as a friend. :) Best wishes on your journey!

I started here in April with at least 100 pounds to lose, I've lost 18 so far but still have a long way to go. :) I will probably revise my goal to lose 120 lbs total when I get closer. We will see... I am on MFP every day, currently a 170 day streak. Anyone is welcome to add me as a friend.

My hubby is taller than me but I weigh more than he does (argh!). However, he's always been very kind and supportive of me no matter what I weigh. (Other family members can be hurtful, but he never is!) Whenever I lose a good amount of weight and he hugs me he usually says "You're disappearing! I can wrap my arms around…

You are doing so well, congrats! :)

I think my period is coming on full-fledged now. So hopefully I will go back to feeling normal soon - I was feeling great on low-carb/keto up until the last few days. I will have to see if this continues to happen as I stay on this eating plan. Maybe my hormone levels are changing due to my new way of eating.

I have been keeping track of my cycle... I thought it could be more than simple coincidence that on the very month I drop my carbs my cycle changed. I came here to see if anyone else experienced something similar. That's all.

I have nearly 100 pounds to lose, I'm friendly, and I'm on MFP every day. Anyone is welcome to add me. :)

I've sent you a FR. I have 100 pounds to lose as well and am friendly, active on MFP daily. :)

You look great, very pretty, and I love your dress! Very inspirational...my goal weight is similar to yours. :)

I love my Fitbit Flex. It's more than $30 but I think you could get a Fitbit Zip for around that price on eBay...

I'm trying to lose 100 pounds too, and it is going more slowly than I expected. But I find my MFP friends are very helpful - without them I would probably have given up by now! Anyone is welcome to add me as a friend. :)

My goal is to lose 100 pounds and so far unfortunately it's not coming off as fast as I'd hoped. But I'm not giving up! Anyone is welcome to add me as a friend, I'm friendly and I'm on MFP every day. I'm a 35 year old mom of a toddler and I work from home. :)

I've been on MFP for nearly 100 days but unfortunately have only lost 8 pounds so far, and I would like to lose 100 - 120 pounds. Anyone can feel free to add me as a friend. I'm friendly and I'm on MFP every day. :)

Very inspiring! Way to go! :)

Very inspiring! I've just started experimenting with Intermittant Fasting to see if it might work for me. I've enjoyed reading this thread!

Thanks everyone for the info and comments. I'm just starting IF on a trial basis, trying to find out what eating window works best for me and if this way of eating will help me start losing weight again. This thread has been very encouraging!
-
I think some people who do IF drink some sort of protein shake with their meal, that might help! Not sure if I could handle 22:2, I've been thinking about trying 16:8... Edited to add...there's a couple of Intermittant Fasting groups here on MFP, maybe they could give you some suggestions if you post there. :)

Next Generation is my favorite, followed by Voyager. I love the new Star Trek movies too, and it tends to give Trekkies heart attacks when I say that I like the new Captain Kirk better than Shatner (gasp!)...

Hi, I'm a work-at-home mom to a toddler and I started here on MFP nearly 90 days ago, lost 8 pounds, and have been fighting a plateau ever since! But I haven't given up. I would like to lose 100 pounds, even if it takes me a long time. I want to make permanent changes to my lifestyle.... Right now my exercise is mainly…

Haha I laughed when I saw this topic because I do not think I have EVER weighed less than my husband in our 10 years together! It doesn't REALLY matter, it doesn't affect our relationship in any way. But it still bugs me lol... He is taller than me though, and has a naturally 'long and lanky' build that runs in his family.…

I have yo-yo dieted a lot too, but this is the most I've ever had to lose. My goal is 100 pounds and I've lost 8 so I have a ways to go. I find for me, my biggest problem is, I will decide to take care of myself, have a few really good months and lose some weight, and then a crisis happens and I stop taking care of myself…

I started here 71 days ago and I have approx 100 pounds to lose - I've only lost 8 so far because I've hit some sort of plateau already. I've found my MFP friends have been so supportive and one of the few reasons I haven't given up! Anyone is welcome to add me. I'm friendly, I'm active on MFP, and I'm a work at home mom…

I'm terrified of losing mine because I've heard a lot of stories of others losing them. So today I ordered a little "belt" which is supposed to help it not slip off my wrist. It's basically a fancy rubber band! But I will also say that their customer support is excellent! My battery started to die and they replaced mine…

Unfortunately I would not be able to handle it. I'm super super sensitive and any remotely negative comment about my weight immediately makes me start to cry. Fortunately my SO never says anything negative about my weight and has loved me no matter what size I am, but some other family members have closely watched my…
