Doing this Whole30 made me realize that when you abandon traditional meal-time thinking, you can really make some good meals. The other morning, I had a chicken thigh with a fried egg over spinach. Not a traditional breakfast at all! I do believe that a fried egg over spinach is one of my new favorite treats, too. Last…

Oh, okay. Well, to whoever it was, THANKS!
-
Jen, do you not already own it? I thought you were the one that recommended it.

Jen, I got on Amazon to order some curtain rods, and the first suggested item was Well Fed! It's like I HAD to buy it! So, I ordered it for my Kindle. I've never READ a cookbook! It actually kept me up past when I should have gone to sleep, but I just couldn't stop reading. I look forward to using it. I love the Hot Plates…

Haha, thanks Kris! If there's a recipe you want, let me know. I don't generally cook things that are too difficult, either.

Geez, I'm a little behind!

Kris, I'm glad this community can be a help to you. :) And I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you've been a big motivator and huge support as well. Carol, good job on the cake battle, and turning people to our side! I know you said that become "that person" at work, but this time, it looks like you may have…

Wow, guys! I think a fried egg over raw, or slightly wilted spinach, might just be my new favorite thing!
-
I made that score card. :) I should get extra points for that, right?
-
Yes, sorry. I didn't really explain it too well.

Heron, mine's not incredibly serious. So jot serious that sometimes I feel dumb even mentioning it, because I know it's not the worst it could be. My dad was regularly hospitalized as a child because of it, but he's grown out of it. I used to get "attacks" every few weeks, but a quick OTC breathing treatment would solve…

Susan, it's great to hear that your spreading some ideas!

Thanks for the info. I have pushed through it before, but my asthma keeps me from really doing it. I think I've said it here before, but I can actually walk a mile faster than I can "run" one, due to my asthma. It's not awful, though. Only acts up when I try to run.

For my Jaunt update, I was only able to get one mile in, yesterday. I didn't weigh myself this morning, but I DID almost get my belt into its second tighter notch, this week! I started this year on 4, and now I'm on 5, close to 6! I'm so excited. This morning, at work, I had to pass the break room on my way in. I thought…

Heron, if I ran like I was running from lions, it would take me way longer to catch my breath than 10 seconds!

Jen, that's like the Gulf Costiest of the Gulf Coast! Kris & Jen, It's not so bad where I'm at, being a pretty good ways inland. We do get plenty of rain and wind, but by the time it's here, it's lost most of its strength. The biggest threat is weak trees that will fall on your roof. We've been lucky to never have anything…
-
Kris, I agree with Jen. You've already made huge changes, but you need to do what works for you. I don't even know what a lentil is, but if it works, eat it! Thanks for joining us and keeping me motivated!

Where's Keesler?
-
Is that some sautéed squash and zucchini?
-
Man, those look awesome!
-
No, if you go to the main F2FHQ group page, you can hit your options button on your browser, and there should be an option to set it to the home screen. I'm not quite sure how on an iPhone, but it should be something like that.
-
We live enough inland that we don't end up in the Gulf. We just have hurricane parties where you sit on the porch and drink while the lights are out. And Grill all your frozen meat, so it won't waste.
-
Haha, this video reminded me of how I feel right now! I'm only referring to the first 5 seconds. http://youtu.be/I5TFkN55XEo

Oh, and don't forget "Hurricane". That's an official season on the Gulf Coast.
-
Jen, we have seasons! Spring, Summer, and January.

Chris, are you taking face pics, or full body?
