Focus on the health benefits and what people say or don't say won't matter. Remember, this is a lifestyle change for you and only…

After 40 our bodies are not very forgiving and need to move. I exercise an hour a day, six days a week, but can cut down to 4 and adjust…

I don't like doing dishes or cleaning my house, but I make myself do it because I feel better and more relaxed when it's done. Same goes for exercise. As NIKE says: Just Do It!

^^^^ What she said! Make peace with your body - treat it like a temple and it will respond for you. Make peace with yourself also. All you have is this day forward. Stop beating yourself up and look forward to this new healthy life one day at a time. Be proud of each and every day. You can do this!!!

For some reason I can only eat a half a pancake or my stomach bothers me. Been that way for a long time. Your body may have adjusted and can't handle the junk. I agree that you gall bladder may be an issue. Hope you are feeling better.

I eat all food groups in moderation. Unless you plan to never eat them again - moderation is the name of the game!

Great information. I have to use ALL the tools I can to keep balanced including exericse, diet, eliminating the news media, meditation! Staying away from the sweets helps and finding some protein to balance the blood surgars, but the sweets are what I crave. Sometimes it hard to even remember what helps. Even make yourself…
