I've been married for 28 years and I want to look and feel good for ME. It really has nothing to do with my husband. His health and wellness needs to be about him. Otherwise, if we hit a rough patch in our marriage (which we all do), we'd both be a mess.

I'm 48, a mom, grandma, wife and am a self-employed professional photographer. I've been married for 27 years and I have a 24yo daughter, 22yo daughter and 19yo son, and . . . a new sweet grandson that i'm completely and totally in love with. My husband and I are new empty nesters (loving it), so NO MORE EXCUSES! We joined…

Great topic. My hubby and I are new empty nesters and new grandparents. We are LOVING the freedom it has brought us and the blessing of falling in love all over again with our sweet grandbaby. Here's a few of my goals this year: Strength training - I'm a total weenie! Finding new healthy recipies for hubby and me & putting…

Breast reduction here, just this last spring. At 5'6" and 134 pounds, I was a 34F and had lots of back issues. Now I'm a 34C and THRILLED! Whoever actually PAYS to get them bigger is nuts. Wish I had done it years ago. No matter how much weight I lose, it made no difference. Surgeon said it was all breast tissue and not…

I'm right on your heals at 48 and ready for a new healthy lifestyle!

I'm right there with you. My BMI is 22%, which is good, but my body fat is 32%, which is borderline healthy/obese. I was shocked as I wear a size 6. The most important number is the body fat as it's a more accurate determination of overall fitness. I'm working to gain muscle and lose fat. At 48, strenght training is REALLY…

I agree. Call and get an appointment ASAP and don't take NO for an answer. I have to tell my mom that sometimes you have to put on your "bi*ch" hat. Now's the time girlfriend!

Great job!!!!!

I just wrap them in saran wrap, but you could use foil. Unwrap and pop in the microwave until warm. I toast the muffins before I wrap them up so they don't get soggy, just not as crunchy, if that makes sense. The green onions make a huge difference, but it only takes a few on each.

I'm in the same boat. Only been logging for a week, but not a pound lost... Oh well, I hope it's just taking the old body time to adjust. Gosh, being patient is NOT fun...

Well, at 48 I always struggle to find the look that's not "an 18yo wanna be", or the grandma look (even though I am). As a photographer I HAVE to look like I know something about fashion, as high school seniors come bringing half their wardraobe. So I have to find stuff that at least maked me look like I have "taste". I…
