Drink a lot of water. Saturdays are my cheat day. I still lose weight. One bad day isn't going to ruin a long stretch of good days.

Make healthier choices into a manageable lifestyle change, not a temporary diet.
-
I've always had a harder time maintaining.. but that's my own fault for letting old habits find their way back into my lifestyle.

Wow, don't think I could or even care to do that. I'm learning the fine balance of moderation. I love chocolate. Just can't have it everyday. But if I have it once a week, and keep it that way, I have an easier time maintaining an overall healthier lifestyle. I do realize for some people, its all or nothing.

I usually split one with my daughter at breakfast. They are higher calorie but nothing wrong with them if it fits your macros/cals.
-
I have been swapping out lettuce in favor of spinach.

While it is true the calories from many veggies are minimal, I log everything. A. I want to be as accurate as possible. B. I want to see all the vitamins and nutrients I had that day. I earned that *kitten*!
-
I log everything. Sometimes on Saturday I'll have what I want and seeing all those calories makes it plain as day why I got so fat.
-
If it works for you.. What I would do is try to get a better workout the next day.. burn those extra calories.
-
You have to want being healthy more than you want that binge. That said, you have to let yourself have what you want every now and then.

That movie is really just a long and well made infomercial. There is definitely some value to juicing your veggies.. but I don't think its a good idea to go on these juice fasts where you do nothing but drink juice for long periods of time. Its too big a calorie deficit.

I suppose if you like to eat the orange peel, go ahead and keep it on. Basically, weigh whatever you are going to eat.
-
If you go back to your old habits that made you fat in the first place, of course.

Chocolate candy, Cheetos, Coca-Cola.. PIZZA. Things I pretty much only allow myself to have on Saturdays.
-
Oh My. Maybe once I hit my goal weight. Although I don't like sugar in my pizza sauce.

Yea, I never believed that eating in the evening had any effect on weight loss. Although I myself rarely eat after 8. I don't agree that you have to exercise every single day. I do think you have to allow yourself to have a rest day to recover. And I don't agree that you have to eat under your calories every single day. I…

Normal day for me. However I am going to allow for a couple of the chocolate covered strawberries I brought home for my two valentines (wife and daughter).

You have to set boundaries and stick to them. Can you keep it to one day? Its all about self-control and making the right choices. For me, having that free day gives me something to look forward to during the week and if I really want something, I know I can have it on Saturday. But I do still count my calories and I won't…

Sure, we can be friends

If I am short on time, it can be an OK option. I try to avoid processed foods if possible but sometimes life gets in the way. You could certainly do much worse than Lean Cuisine.

Made this a few times last year. Making it again tomorrow. Love this recipe. Bumping this.

MILKY WAY!

Yea those would only work if we were on your computer. But great job.

I'd like to be in Onederland by the end of October. That's about 6 pounds to go. I think its doable.
-
congrats on the quitting. I've been wanting to, but not sure I could handle trying to lose weight and smoking at the same time. Not sure.
-
about 60/40, here a little more often lately.
-
Dropped about 4 or 5 the first week. Those first few pounds usually come right off. Now I'm at a steady 2 per week.
-
Big congrats to you. That is life changing, and for the better! That is an amazing story.

Mine just arrived a half hour ago. Its still all shiny in its package. I love new toys!
