  • I define curvy to mean proportionately larger breasts, hips and butt as compared to the waist. Hourglass shape. I am not curvy from the waist up (very small top) but I have a smaller waist and larger hips and butt. Since my top is smaller I do not consider myself curvy. I'm more of a pear shape. Heavy women without a…
  • It looks like tons of fun! I just completed the Spartan Military Sprint challenge and THAT was beyond amazing. Check it out: www.spartanrace.com
  • Not appropriate for a bank. If you worked in the fashion industry or an artistic type of environment.
  • Definitely smaller belly, smaller pecs and almost no back/side rolls (love handles). Amazing difference. WTG!!!
  • I eat all of my daily calories and most of my exercise calories. You should stick as close to those calories as possible so that you don't go into starvation mode. Even a tiny bit over is okay too. I am losing slowly but still losing. Good luck!
  • You look fantastic. Your smile is even brighter! Great work!
  • Agree completely! You don't HAVE to do any medicine you don't want to. BUT you need to know what it is because if you start to treat it yourself you can easily make it WAY worse. Good luck!
  • Where I think the line gets crossed between "dressing your age" and "dressing appropriately" is when any overweight, unfit woman dresses in jeans that are too small, skirts that show the cellulite, and tops that show entirely too much cleavage. ANYONE no matter what age has no business showing off too much unless the body…
  • Amazing. You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing! The difference is unbelievable! :drinker:
  • I am only at 5 since the end of January and even though the numbers aren't moving as quickly as I want them to I am focusing more on how I feel, how I look (those changes are quite visible if you pay close attention) and just knowing that I am on the right track. Don't get discouraged. Add me as a friend and I will gladly…

  • So I headed out yesterday for another swim and tried breathing every four strokes and it helped ALOT! I still got a bit winded, which is just the way it is since I am asthmatic and need another inhaler but I was able to do more than Tuesday. Tuesday was 11 laps in 30 minutes and yesterday I made it to 12. I am happy with…
  • Thank you ladies. Very sound advice! I breathe every two strokes (always on the right) but tonight I thought I would try every three. I will also try slowing my kicks too. I don't have a very good front float so when I lose my kick pattern I start to sink and lose my concentration.
  • I am 5'8" and hoping to get below 150. I started out around 185. I am not a slender build and I carry alot of muscle so below 150 for me will be a huge challenge. :flowerforyou:
  • I just watched Jen Rankin's video and she has some fantastic techniques. Do I want to be a body builder? NO WAY! But her advice is worth considering. Thank you for the link. Heres the link to her video. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jen-rankin-fitness-360.html
  • My goal "outfit" is a certain pair of Lucky jeans. And to be able to wear a cute cami or snug fitting tee with them and not have muffin top, belly overhang, back fat or double-butt. I don't aim for a bathing suit because my darling children eliminated the possibility of me ever looking "good" in a 2-piece! I think jeans or…
  • You look great!!! Keep up the good work!
  • WOOOHOOOO! Way to go!!! :drinker:
  • I understand if he is private but truly this is your journey. Maybe you could compromise and if he will take them then you won't post them. Maybe just keep them for your own comparisons. Just because the photos are taken doesn't mean you HAVE to post them on the internet. If you must post them to keep going on your journey…
  • If you don't control what is in your home then I suggest two things: 1. Take your normal portion size of that wonderful chinese food and cut it in half. Then add a serving or two of fresh fruit or veggies. 2. DO NOT EAT IN FRONT OF THE TV no matter what. If you get the munchies in front of the TV then get up and go do…
  • You just have to say to yourself, "Self, I CAN have all that crappy junk food, but I CHOOSE not to. I am in control. I will choose something healthy." Then slam a glass of water and find something else to do so that you forget about the junk food. Go outside for a walk, go to the gym, or call a friend. Good luck!…
  • You can do it. You will do it. It is so. :flowerforyou: Jaime
  • Same boat here. Just got back on the wagon today. I worked my butt off to lose 30 lbs before summer and have spent the last month goofing off and gaining weight again. We can stay focused!! We will do it! Jaime:flowerforyou:
  • When that happens to me I have a bowl of my favorite cereal. Probably not the best thing to do right before bed but I really like it:happy:
  • :drinker: Cheers for you! Our community's Relay for Life is this coming Saturday and I am participating as well. I intend to walk for at least 85% of the time so hopefully I will earn some serious extra calories for that! Relay IS a fantastic thing and I will no doubt be a part of it every year possible! Congrats to your…
  • I found a great 80's aerobics mix that has beefed up fast tempo versions of "Addicted To Love", and others. It is killer and really motivates. I'd gladly burn you copies and mail them to you (then you could rip them into your pc then xfer to your mp3) if you think you'd like that kind of music. Let me know!
  • No matter what, only weigh yourself in the morning after you pee and before you shower because wet hair and body can affect the weight and also for sure clothing can. I track my weight loss that way so that other daily factors don't change my weight like food consumption, water weight, etc. But for sure like angel1face…
  • :drinker: Good for you! This site is a real motivator!
  • Hi there! I too am someone who never had a weight issue...until I had two children! Since then I have been struggling with getting rid of an extra 25-30 lbs. This last fall I finally had enough and decided to do it for myself!! So I began an excercise regimen and began watching my calories in September '08. Since then…
