for me trying to avoid wheat and trying to eat more vegetarian (seafood is still in my diet) is a challenge. i'm having to get more creative but as stated in this thread you can't go wrong with veggies and fruit for carbs.

i suggest trying something different. i've been doing zumba at the gym and my body responded well! also make sure you're drinking lots of water (still) and watching the content of your calories not just total calories.

insanity is really good cardio but it killed my calves! i had a hard time doing it and teaching my regular fitness classes. i have skipped around reading but what i'd like is to just do the videos a few days a week not every single day. it just doesn't fit with all the other things i have going on. i crash and burn.…

i've been doing belly dance about 3 years and i love it! the women are great to be around. the moves are fun and challenging and there's no equipment needed, you can do it anywhere. it can really build upper body and core strength. i've even performed with girls from my class. it's fun to get dressed up and perform.…

i would say wear the hrm and see what your calorie burn is and use that. i teach a 60 min strength endurance training class. i sweat from start to finish. it's weights (but not in the traditional reps / sets) but also cardio drills. i get a cardio workout from it and i could that.

5-htp is for mood but also said to decrease appetite. it's related to serotonin levels. i think it does work.
