Gained 2.5 pounds. Two days ago I boxed up all the candy and cookies and gave them to my husband to hide. Sweets are my weakness, however, I am now back to healthy eating!

Thanks for the information! Looks like I have been doing it backwards.

Are you drinking 8 8oz cups of water daily? Are you bored and therefore eating vice staying active? If you open up your diary maybe we can see some potential problem areas or places to assist.

Foods are packaged differently between the US and other countries. A MFP friend of mine had a Weight Watchers dessert in his diary and I checked a website to learn about the fat in this item as he was not tracking fat. Thought I might pick some up at the grocery store next time since the calorie count was so low. During…

Dannon Oikos Greek Nonfat yogurt is the only yogurt I eat. Calories=80; Fat=0; Sodium=50mg; Sugar=6g; Protein=15g. I have found most other yogurts to be very high in sugar and do not eat them anymore.

I felt the same way when I first began MFP. My calories total was 1340 to lose 1/2 pound per week. I did not think it was possible. However, with healthier eating I discovered that it is very possible. My diary is open for all to see so please take a look. I set my goal for only 1/2 pound because I did not want to feel…

If you open up your diary, we might be able to provide additional suggestions!

I have lost 14 pounds and I almost always eat back the majority of my exercise calories. The goal calories that MFP recommends you eat has already deducted for your weight loss goal for the week. Thus, your exercise calories are free calories to eat. By not eating these calories, you body is getting more accustomed to…

I would recommend you eliminate the processed foods you are eating as well as the soda. My diary is open such that you can see the whole foods/clean eating that I enjoy.

Wow! You look amazing and you are such an inspiration to me! I'm 57 also.

Flawed???? No, that is how we were made; to enjoy looking at a naked body. That is what has kept this species going. Now inappropriate behaviors and actions, well that is a different thing. Those could certainly be deemed flawed.

Totally on board!

I am 5' 71/2" tall and weight 145. This weight has put me back into a size 8. I hope to lose 5 more pounds. I use to weight 125 when I was in my 20s, however, I do not believe that is a realistic weight for me given my age and the fact that I have much more muscle than what I had back then. My diary is open so feel free to…

My goal weight is what I weighed when I was 35 and I remember feeling good at that weight. I am also very happy with pictures of me at that weight. Next, I decided to check out some charts and calculator to see where that weight put me. See these websites:…

Nuts are high in calories and yet good for you. I eat almonds and walnuts, however, in my diet I do so sparingly so as to not go over my calorie limit.

Suzy, Thanks for the education on Isolate. Did a little research on the Internet and found the following information for those that are interested. The “good” from the Soy Beans Association: http://www.soyfoods.org/soy-information/soy-fact-sheets/soy-protein-isolate-fact-sheet The “bad” from the LiveStrong/Lance Armstrong…

Does that mean that Kashi brand snacks and cereals are out??? I am also trying to eliminate as much processed foods from my diet as possible, however, I thought Kashi was a good choice for a portable snack. I like the Dark Chocolate Coconut bars which do contain 7 g of sugar (cane sugar, honey), however, it does contain a…
