Hi, I love hot yoga and feel so refreshed afterwards. I have calculated by caloric burning as high as 600 calories in an hour and a half period sometimes. This is during hot yoga vinyasa. I feel like I get a better work out then I do from kickboxing and that says I burn more. Its probably just because of the heat though.…

Thanks guys I appreciate your feedback. Glad you overcame that. I talked to one of the doctors I work with and he said its good to limit your calorie intake or even fast before starting a healthier way of life. I think I overeat too much to ever become anorexic.

I actually heard a lot of good answers on here and tips I plan on using. I am sorry you are offended I'm not following your advice to a T. About half of the people on here agree it is a good kick start and have given me tips as to how to maintain any loss afterwords so I'd say its a successful post no matter how negative…

Thanks for that and good job on your success!

Thanks that is exactly what I plan to do. I do not think I'll have too much trouble maintaining because 12-1500 is not that hard for me ya know? Its just that when I don't achieve the results I am looking for I overeat, defeated. I think this jusmpstart is kind of good for me because it gives me that kickstart I need like…

Exactly-it is a fad diet meant to kick start weight loss, hardly any if any cardiac labs implement it. That is just what it says in the explanation.

Ya, I am thinking the high protein/low carb way is a winner, after I get my jump start. I've lost an inch on my bust and two on my tummy 1 on my hips so far and I am fitting into my medium scrubs today so I do not think it is just water weight although it does say the first week you do it it is mostly water weight you lose.

I think you are exactly right, it is a psychological boost for sure. But I think I can maintain after a big loss like 30 lbs.......

Thanks, everyone has been really helpful and thrown some good ideas out there. However, I am going to stick with it this month because I love the results I am getting so far and it makes a 1200 calorie diet feel like nothing. After I achieve the results I want in a month, I am going to use some other ideas on here you guys…

I hardly think I am gambling with people's lives because I am eating under 1000 calories, geez~dramatic much? Whats more I can do x-rays in my sleep and still spot a pathology so trying to attack my professional career is just plain mean and not what I thought this message board was geared towards. My husband will…

I have 3 but there are 4 more I would like to get. I like tattoos and want to get an (ambiogram?) of my son and daughters name on m,y wrist but it sucks because I work at a hospital; and think I'd have to cover it. Its a generational thing I guess.

I can relate because I gained 80 lbs with my son and I lost about 40 of it then got the deppo shot and shot up 15 and haven't seen the 160's since! I was 127 the day I found out I was pregnant and I never knew how rapidly that would change! Now I am on a very vigorous diet it is probably unhealthy but I don't care because…
